​​​ I think they stole build.prop info from another device so it would show as Google certified or at least bypass the thing that makes you manually register uncertified devices. You have had at least one other cheap phone show up as a different one when signing in to Google, probably also for this reason. I remember also noticing that the build fingerprint on the Protruly phone was stolen from an LG phone.

I was so excited to see this. There is something about phones that have a passing resemblance to the communicators from Star Trek ( the original series). If this had a gold mesh flip up I would buying one. Yes I know earlier mobile phones were designed to look like communicators. Lol. Science Fiction did have a major role in pushing technology along to our dreams. I am totally with you in why do they lie about the specs on these cheapo devices. It's just not necessary. I guessed it was a rebranded Welcome device as soon as you turned it on. That startling sound is on all these devices. Oh boy that screen is atrocious. I know there was some issue with the frame rate and the camera filming causing that flickering. I could barely make out the apps and in settings I just couldn't anything. They were awful. I nearly wet myself laughing with you at the led "torch". The :accidental" drop test was funny. Quality build. 😂 The camera/video test did produce a few decent photos. The Devine Miss Ripley looks awesome as purr. Lol Still a netter camera/video test than the one on the knockoff IPhone 15 clone. The big sperker wasn't too bad. Not all that distorted. On a side note I saw an advert for Doom: The Dark Ages earlier coming out in 2025. And immediately thought of you. Speaking of gaming. It's just not up to the task lol. That poor screen really doesn't help. To answer your question about sending it back to Aliexpress then I would do. It just wasn't as described and that drop test just proved it. If you ever come across something that does look more like the Star Trek communicators can you test one please. The nostalgia is strong. Yes I know wrong franchise lol 😆 😂

You can increase "Smallest Width" in the developer options to fit more stuff in display, possibly the button to apply the CPU model thing too. Obviously would be ever harder to see the display tho. I'm also not sure if android 7 has that option, though it should, dpi is a thing since android 3.

Cameras are also both 2mp. One is a GalaxyCore GC2385. Having a look at how terrible the 5mp gc5035 on OnePlus is even in daylight, it sounds right. Fromt is also 2mp, a "BYD BF2206" (?), same brand that does cars?

that graph in the advertising, was part of the color spectrum\wavelength chart. visible colors for humans starts at 700nm red light (lowest energy) and ends at 400nm blue light (blue light is higher energy light, which hurts eyes more, therefore, blue light blocking mode in phone settings) the graph showed around 400-480 nanometer light, but it didn't make a whole lot of sense, as to display all colors properly, your phone needs to display all wavelengths.
