I always wondered if you knew that holding down on the torch icon opens a menu that allows you to increase or decrease its brightness?

Holy moly, I never knew that lol. Thanks for the tip! That's going to come in handy for sure :)

Why do people even buy modern budget phones? Just buy a refurbished or used flagship from a few years ago for slightly more but a way better experience

As someone who uses a DSLR camera the sound it makes when you click record sounds like when it lifts the mirror so it can expose the sensor for it to record. When you press it again it closes the shutter and the mirror drops again, idk if it was intentional but it felt nice hearing that lol

50% of an Iphone is the software, and China can't use that software. So why use "i", when it's a Samsung clone?

I HAVE A REDMI 12C! I've been using it for a year and it's pretty good, got it from android 13-14 (MIUI 14 to HyperOs) There are some bugs and missing features but it's overall good

they did it on purpose to call it a nitro so people can be fooled by the name! it should be called aspera snail for how "fast" it is, and i did a research on the cpu and according to a site it says that this cpu is for low budget phones (and it was made in 2017), it uses a 4g module and it has the same gpu as this (meanwhile the old generation used the mali one) so even tho is sus about the glue i think they are correct on the cpu name. as for the camera, it's worse than welcome, at least put it outside so you know it's a dummy one but no, pretending to be a real one and be a dummy is being a prick. i object to this!

It looks very similar to an Oukitel C16 pro, even the display size is correct, but that has 3/32 and 720p screen , fingerprint reader is in the same place though.

Amazing content as always! One thing that confuse for you in Australia, you buy your tech from Post Office like a tech shop? Or you order it online and receive to the post office?

The Aspera Nitro will find itself in the Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 territory. That´s 2011.... Except the camera is FAR better on the Galaxy S2. As well as the performance and display....

My Dad used several of these at his print shop to archive customer design files on CD-R & DVD-R. This was great to pull up old Photoshop, Pagemaker and InDesign files that may need to be referenced or used later but infrequently enough not to take up valuable hard drive space.

@giovanni570413 сағат бұрын
Lol, this is not really relevant in the 21st century... but it is quite funny for a company that makes (re-brands?) cheap, bad smartphones to be called "Aspera", which in Latin approximately translates to "rough place" or "hardships". Like, isn't it a bit too on the nose to makes shitty phones named something like "mega bad time"?

This is why you should build smartphones in third world country😅😅😅
@wyterabitt214911 сағат бұрын
They probably do, it's an Australian company I doubt they build them in Australia. They are are just trying to push the extreme budget market, which as strange as it sounds isn't a good idea for small companies. You need to be a big company with a huge market range in the world to have the economy of scale to really compete in the ultra budget market, those companies will be getting ok budget components at a cheap price instead of having to get horrible components for the same price as that like Aspera probably have to settle for. Nothing phone is a better example of a small British company, that targets a better market that allows them to actually do something interesting and compete.
