Hi Rob. I recently built a similar setup using the SmartWire on Azn's Dung Beetle and it works great. Fuel Pump wire is to thin for this strong pumps! (2:09)
@ben94cobra5 жыл бұрын
for many setups yes. IIRC two 16AWG wires with 20A each will equate to 11AWG/40A which could be inadequate. In these cases just use a single fuel pump output (freeing the other in the process) to trigger a dedicated relay or two.
@thejman34895 жыл бұрын
8:37 A consistent dip and a consistent speed will make it look real nice. Aluminum runs pretty hot and fast and you don't need as much filler as you think you do, especially on thin stuff.
@CGT805 жыл бұрын
That wasn't aluminum; hopefully, you knew that and were just offering extra advice. I have found that moving too slow, with too little heat, makes it harder to get nice beads on either metal. Running hot and fast can help reduce heat input into the part. X2 on consistency.

Rob please build up more support on your engine stand. The torque from that motor is going to rip that thing apart and throw your engine on the ground.
