400 IM, my favourite event, for sure (to see on TV!). I was 12 when I did it first time, and it was painful! I’ve done it several times, but you need to be well prepared, especially on LCM… if not, after a loooong breast leg, also the final free part is pain.

Powerful and controlled fly, try and keep up temp in backstroke, glide in breaststroke, freestyle give what you have left. Make sure to eat and drink properly
