Not sure about chief being the up standing guy people think he is. A couple of years ago they had a 11:00 curfew on one of the meets. Chief was suppose to race Daddy Dave for the #1 spot but it was getting close to the shut down of the night and chief deliberately stalled and stalled because he didn't want to risk his spot. Since then I have no respect for him at all. To me Daddy Dave is probably if not the #1 at least one of the most upstanding guys besides being a great driver.

It's also technically considered vin tampering and a felony. Bending the rules is fine but playing the victim when you get caught breaking the rules because you told on yourself and forced discovery and pilgrims hands. All the drivers knew what the car was but since he was slow and inconsistent it was irrelevant. He wanted an excuse he could use to play the victim for why he was kicked off the 405 list and be able to blame everyone else. If he could grow hair he would have the same hair cut the Karen's have.

I've seen recent videos by Reaper and others, He holds things, right or wrong and let's it stew until he can't stand himself anymore. He built a carbon fiber car, which didn't come with steel anything or a vin and glued replacement top skins over the carbon and tries to say "it's a steel roof and quarter car." And he knows it's not and forced it to a vote of which chief was *not* the first or third to vote and gets bent about being manipulating. In his newer video he says that he'd been working on thst car for two years and chief new all about it. I think there's some drifting from the truth there. He might have known he was building the car but not cheating the skins. This car was built for regular, catch as catch can street racing where you convince people it's a real steel car but, here... I think he wanted of the list for whatever reason and instead of just saying "I'm done," he forced them to kick his car so he could say "they kicked me off." Reaper on his channel, will tell you he's straight up, 100% and tells the hard truth, like it or not. This doesn't seem to be the actions of someone who's always 100% all the time, tells it like it is. He was the master manipulater here that he always claims Chief to be. Chief may have dug himself into a deep hole in recent events like America's list/405 SO but, it's not all his fault all the time. But I think thst this time, his buying into his own hype may have cost him and he's probably off the show forcthe time being, if not permanently.
