The 49ers Waive Cornerback Ambry Thomas from Injured Reseve

Ambry Thomas got the Niners into the playoffs with his interception against the Rams a few years ago. I though he could have been a really solid corner for us with his speed and height. Unfortunately, it seemed he lost a lot of confidence which affected his playing abilities. It didn't help that he got a ton of flags called on him. I'm surprised the Niners cut him instead of an older player.
