Thank you Maya :) I just hope the YT algorithm will bless me with more reach eventually 🙏 Yeah perfectionism is a constant struggle for me too. I'm getting better at it, but sometimes it's a good idea to show a friend your edit and ask them to give you some advice. Usually when I do this with my gf, she'll point out some changes, but way less than what I think needs to be changed. Just goes to show that we're often our harshest critics, and most people don't see the 'perfectionism' that you do, or even care to watch it with that extra level of polish that you think a final video needs before it's ready for the world to see.

Yeah that's a great point Vik. A lot of these mindsets can be applied to other areas of creativity and study. When I look back at the times when my film school work was easy, it was because I was unknowingly doing some of these methods.

It's always tricky with KZbin cause there's sometimes when I feel a topic needs some kind of intro to get the viewer ready for the points I'm gonna make in the video. But I get for some people it might feel too long. That's why I leave chapter markers so viewers can just skip along if they don't wanna hear my intro 😊 Thanks for the feedback though
