That last defensive technique of drawing the line in the sand... exact reason Lopez took that fight from Loma for the first 6 rounds.

I was in boxing in boxing and coaches try to drill that I could only fight a guys in my weight range. It made me and others think it's true in the streets. Sad. But I know better now. I like this coach method. I never was taught this.

I’m 14 y.o. and I’m looking into starting boxing I’m in pretty good shape but I don’t have a partner to practice with and working with a trainer is too expensive because the only ones around me charge $150 a session. Any tips on how to find a cheap trainer or a partner to spar/practice with? P.S. amazing video btw respect
@MasterBoxingLLC3 жыл бұрын
Think about this for a second. You get what you pay for. Do you want someone who has low value ? Because that’s the type work you will get from them. The kind of work that brings no value but will more than likely get you hurt due to their lack of knowledge. Your first mission is to increase what you’re able to pay. So increase your cash flow so you can PT for a great trainer. If that’s nit an option, try to get a gym membership The difference between a great trainer and a valueless trainer is light years apart. People charge money because what they give you is priceless and it’ll change your life forever. Hopefully that’s what you’re wanting to do. I’ll leave you with this my friend, you pay for what you value, I’m sure you’re typing this message on a phone or computer. Both of those cost money, you paid because you found value in it. You didn’t hesitate to ask your parents for either, you just paid. That’s how we are as human beings. We pay for what we truly value, maybe this is just a hobby to you, so until it’s not just a hobby, just watch it online and role play at home. One thing for sure, you can play basketball and soccer, but you don’t play boxing. Earn the money to get a trainer or join an affordable boxing program. You’re young and still have time to make that decision. I love your passion. It takes a lot to ask questions sometimes, keep learning about the history of boxing first, then you’ll have more passion to obtain this goal. Best of luck champ.

I am definitly not a expert, but isent footwork Nr 1? Because if you are out of range and you oponent has to readjust this creates opening for you to capitalize on right? For example Fury vs Klitschko
@MasterBoxingLLC3 жыл бұрын
Circumstances makes cases. There’s no one rule of thumb that validates one move over another, only the scenario categorizes what should be done. Ex: Ali Frazier, the boxer lost against the brawler. #circumstances
