I used to be, repeat USED TO BE a obsenely expensive house/mansion FREAK and would spend an embarrassing amount of time buying expensive magazines about them, surfing the web to look at them and obssessing about them. Then I came to my senses. The people who build these GARGANTUAN monstrosities only live in them for maybe 5-10 years on average after realzing how absurdly expensive their upkeep is and how useless all that superfluous square footage is and they are the most grotesque examples of ego, greed and MATERIALISM RUN ABSOLUTELY AMOK.

I have imagined being in one of these "palaces" until I remembered that I used to have a 2400 sq.ft. 5 bedroom, 5 bath house and I really HATED it! Now, I live in a one ROOM - not one bedroom - house with Mozart my cat, I am stupendously content and happy! Cheers
