This house is north of i-70 (across the interstate from vail village). Since it is on the south facing slope it will get a lot of sun exposure. This will make it very hot out in the summer and little snow in the winter as the strong sun will melt most of it.

@@Cptn201 - :) thats pretty neat stuff. i had tendency to fall sleep during study hall and history. was too calm and too much reading to keep me intrigued... government class i aced. only cause i studied it all during the summers cause it was crucial to know and also was one of our toughest to ace classes. the teach was boring as hell. put me to sleep within 15 minutes ever day come to find out and thats no shit lol...he use to flip out on me lmao.. so but pardon my ignorance lol

@Sightless Sniper Housing prices have doubled, just based on material cost alone. I bought/built my house on 2 acres and 4000sq-ft for $230k in 2019. My neighbors have a similar spec'd home with a little differences/enhancements and they paid somewhere around $270k. These same neighbors, were selling the house and it stayed on the market for 3 months and sold for $660k. I asked my realtor how much my house was worth as it is right now, she told me $650k if I were to sell. This house will easily sell for asking.

@@rotor13 The problem is that there are very few people in the world who can afford to spend 40 million dollars on one house. That makes it a lot harder to sell then any 600K home. This has been on the market for a year now. The last time this house sold was for 20 million in 2018. I doubt that someone who could afford to by this house would want to pay a 100% increase for a property that sold just a couple of years before. Rich people like to make money, not lose it and buying at this price you are almost guaranteed to lose money if you tried selling it down the line.
