I regularly ponder how top level investors are able to be millionaires off investing. I've got a critical amount of capital that needs to be started, but I don't even know what methodologies or paths will help me make decent profits.

Since the market is currently volatile, I will recommend that you hire a financial adviser who can advise you on entry and exit points for the shares or ETFs you focus on
@JimmyRose-gp6qfАй бұрын
I concur. In light of individual experience working with a financial adviser, I presently have $1m in a very much enhanced portfolio that has encountered dramatic development. It's not just a matter of having money to invest in stocks. you also need to be knowledgeable, persistent, and have strong hands to support your investment

Engaging in active trading versus long-term investing requires unique strategies for maximizing returns. Active trading involves frequent buying and selling of securities, aiming to capitalize on short term market fluctuations. On the other hand, long-term investing focuses on holding assets over an extended period, leveraging the power of compounding.
@John-ww2fvАй бұрын
Absolutely, the key to successful trading lies in a well defined strategy and execution. Whether you’re a day trader or a swing trader, having a plan that includes risk management and exit criteria is crucial. It isn’t just about making profits but also involves minimizing losses and staying resilient amidst market volatility.
@TheDuke792Ай бұрын
Speaking from experience, I’ve been actively trading for the past 5 years and have made substantial gains. With careful research, analysis and execution, my portfolio has grown exponentially from $55,000 to over $1.1million USD. It is essential to stay level headed so as to ensure that fear or greed doesn’t stop you.

Your success in trading will NOT be determined by the number of green days when you are right but by the number of red days when you are wrong..Let that sink in guys and they ONLY way you could become and stay a consistently profitable trader after you build your edge is to have a maximum daily stop loss limit set in your trading platform .. Good luck out there..!

I bought 10 120 puts at 14 dollars a contract on nvda on Friday I managed to catch that big dip when it dropped and made a new low of day. I was watching the level 2 order book and I saw the bids getting filled at a lower price then it was trading at then I went to the time and sales and I saw the price accelerating once I saw that volume coming in I knew that dip was coming. The RVOL also spiked above 6 on the 1 minute time frame which is really high so that just gave me more confirmation on this thought process I had. It ended up being a beautiful trade that I caught the only mistake I made was selling early I left a good amount of profit on the table but im getting better at holding my winners and letting them run. I learned alot from watching yalls videos on KZbin and just listening to yall talk. Thanks SMB.

Someone mentioned (below?) that we need a bachelor's degree to actually get training and to work at SMB on the trading floor (and/or remotely too?). ** Is this true? ** I'm retired, associate degree, but more work experience than what 2yr degree taught (logistics rail management), own a home, married, good health. First one to work, and last to leave every day. Actively, I trade but want the "right training" with the right group not some guru's plan (I'm not a fan of that word, the internet is full of those). I'm quite serious about anything I set my sights on learning. I'm to guess that if I don't have the 4yr degree, I'm S-O-L? This is a valid question. True? Or not true?
