Not sure if you done this but the c200 has the ability to record proxy footage and internal raw at the same time. @@Theaaronchris I usually use 720p HD. It's still running smoothly. Other editing software plays smoothly h264 in my laptop. But davinci resolve has very laggy playback. That's means it is not optimize as others.
@andyq96694 жыл бұрын
Yeah - without tweaking any settings I get much smoother 4k H264 playback on Premiere Pro CC than Resolve 16 on the same system, and even after generating optimised media Resolve isn't quiet as smooth. That's when it's not throwing up "out of GPU memory" errors every 30 seconds... I know I've got a crappy 2g GPU on the laptop, but that's twice the memory of what's used in this video, so things seem to have gone backwards with Resolve 16 (I'm presuming this video is V15?).

@@leveluppictures5794 Unfortunately there are no Studio drivers for this particular model, which is a laptop GPU and thus I'm stuck with it. I can't do 4k on it without getting memory errors, but it's OK with 1080p stuff.

This actually works--- I'm so glad, I'm on a laptop (which isn't too bad but it's still not perfect) and before my video wouldn't even play back, and now it's almost completely smooth. Ty man, saved me a nightmare of getting a big pc to actually edit stuff!

One of the best tutorials on DaVinci Resolve!! I am new to Resolve, have an old laptop but your step by step tutorial has come as a blessing. Thanks a ton. Subscribed. Prayers for you.

Thanks for this video, I'm too far into Davinci to ever go back so it's nice to know there was a solution for this. I don't understand why software makes things so complicated! Great for youtubers though right! - Really appreciate you taking the time to put this together. Thank you!
