@JKAZ_M4 жыл бұрын
@@mhm77887 Oh I totally agree. I didn't mean to invalidate it's importance. Sorry if I came across as doing that. We all should take our mental health just as seriously, if not more, than our physical health. Specially in a society that overworks us and teaches us we always have to produce more and more. Thanks for pointing it out.
@gnarthdarkanen74644 жыл бұрын
I think it IS relatively normal from time to time... It's like the other individual kinds of fatigue or tiredness... Take physical tiredness. It's perfectly normal. You work hard all day, and you need to eat properly and get proper sleep so your body can repair and recuperate from it. You'll be alright when you've rested appropriately and recovered. Mental fatigue comes from taxing your mind more. SO you'll need to relax the mind and let it loose to wander, be silly, explore or as writer's often call it "Refilling the well" when they read. Artists go to galleries for unveiling parties and to museums to look at things instead of continuing to focus on creating imagery. Musicians put down the instrument of choice and go listen to someone else's music... Some people find other activities that are more relaxing. Social fatigue is the need to just be alone and decompress a while from whatever rampant socializing you've been deeply involved in. ...and I might highly suggest you pop over to an abandoned channel by "Animated James" or just search up the video "Creative Types" and give it a listen. It's pretty damn relatable. The thing is, we all engage to different degrees in all these activities and so we get fatigued. It IS perfectly normal. That doesn't mean you shouldn't take it seriously. When you need sleep (and you do regularly) you should certainly make a point of getting it in plentiful amounts, and make sure it's GOOD sleep... not flipping and flopping and waking up every half hour or just laying there every night to stare at the ceiling... or watch the hands go around and around on your clock. By the same token, you also need to put time aside to engage in the things that help you recover from the other kinds of fatigue. It's still normal, because literally EVERYBODY has to attend to those things or they get "sick". ;o)

The increasing demands of the world have made it normal, but it shouldn’t be. Thankfully there are ways around it

Medically speaking, tiredness happens to everyone -- it's an expected feeling after certain activities or at the end of the day. Usually, you know why you're tired, and a good night's sleep solves the problem. Fatigue is a daily lack of energy; unusual or excessive whole-body tiredness not relieved by sleep.👍
@TheBontekraai4 жыл бұрын
Yes, but for most of us overthinkers here it is causing fatigue. I've read that the brain uses 30% of the total energy. So if you are thinking all the time it will really burn you out. Look at all the narcissists out there (Trump etc) and how weathered their bodies look when they get older. Personally i think nowadays they are looking at science and medicine too much instead of looking at how 90% of all sickness actually comes from our mind and how we have been raised.

I’m still not the same person a year later and have to take life a bit slower now. This might have been something I wish I had seen in high school. I was definitely mentally and emotionally tired, it all building up into a long term burnout throughout all of junior year. I withdrew from friends and I hated all the art I created. I felt stressed and I pushed myself to care about school, but I was just so tired of it all, junior year was the year I ended up skipping the most classes and assemblies I could. It was the year I didn’t give it my all on my assignments, and I just felt hopeless. But then senior year came by, and I had time to step away and go to boarding school. I made new friends, I healed my old wounds, and I realized that what I was going through was a lot more than I thought it was. Now, I’ve reconnected with the friends I cut off, I’m doing the best I can to learn new skills and practice my hobbies, and I don’t dread who I am anymore. I feel great And my friends always point it out too, where they noticed how much I’ve gotten better and how much happier I am now than I was before. I’m really grateful for where I’m at right now mentally, and if I could go back in time to my past self, I would tell them how they just need to make time for themselves to rest up, that it’s good to take breaks, and that people love them even when it feels like it’s not true

Tiredness of all kinds of affected areas is not to be underestimated. It can damage and impair your cognitive processes, and just one bad night of sleep can wreck it for the entire week's worth of days. Keep that going, you're looking at years of damage and as continue, you become more and more likely to make a fatal mistake that can easily put you and other's lives at risk. So I think that if you're feeling constantly tired for more than half of a whole month, it's only wise to get that checked out and repaired as soon as possible.

I'm the kind of person that likes to burn the candle at both ends... so I regularly suffer burnout. I've tried changing things so I don't get so burnt out all the time, but even when I cut back on work I tend to fill my free time with projects at home so I'm not really relaxing. I have tried dedicating a single day a week to simply resting, but that only helps for so long. Now I have two days where I simply rest [unless I need to see my physical therapist]. It helps, but then I get anxiety because I spend less time on my personal goals of writing & publishing my books. I just seem hard-wired to overwork myself! So this year I have begun a regular vacation pattern of taking an 8 day vacation every quarter [once every 3 months]; as a private contractor I can do that. The end of this month is my second... I can already say that I long for the end of the month to come & that knowing I have the break coming provides tons of relief. I think the best way to combat burnout is to know yourself and take measures to counteract your more unhealthy habits, like my tendency to work myself to death & bury myself in projects. XD

Other People: How often are you tired? Me: Yes. Other People: ? Me: I'm always tired.

I have experienced all five of these at one point or another. Being someone that is an extrovert at the highest level, having the hyper sensitive personality, and having ADD, I am still learning how to manage things so I don't get tired often while being able to rest when I go to bed.

The first one really resonated with me as I am an introvert. Last week, I was on discord just about everyday and I visited 3 real life friends (and had 2 sleepovers with some of them) and all I've been doing so far is just being on my phone and switch and only ever leaving my room for food and drinks.

That came at the right time. It is interesting about #1. I really thought that it was just an introverted thing, and I really wondered if it was what was going on. I stand corrected, and I appreciate it. Thanks!

@@matcha2753 I can relate with literally everything you said, it's really hard not being able to trust people...you end up being alone or always faking a smile around others, like everything is ALWAYS perfect...or at least that's what happens to me, in my case I'm afraid that others are just trying to use me, I've been betrayed so many times that now I always put this wall... A "bright and cheerful personality" to prevent me of being hurt, wanting it or not and preventing me of being close to people (that's also a really bad thing). Anyway, I have social anxiety, and the panick attacks are one of the worst parts... that's why I need the medicines anyway yaaaay ^^; But really, I sincerely hope that everything works out well for you, 12 is one of the most difficult times, but please just remember, you're not alone, okay? ❤️ Btw sorry for any mistakes, my English is still in improvement...

Thanks but this has been going on for about 3, years now An I'm really confused about if my sister is mentally abusing me nots that I send mentally .😅 I just found out that she has many been doing this for 7or6 years but I still don't know if that what it is or if she realizes what she's doing. Thank you for telling me about yourself I hope you get better to An are you irish? Or some other country? I'm studying to learn japanese by the way but I still don't know that much😅 but ooh well This came in late I was sleeping cuz I didn't know what to do but sleep 😂

@@matcha2753 Don't worry, just try to relax kay? well I'm Brazilian but I'm living in Italy right now, so yeah, my English probably sucks, sorry :'). But thank you for telling me about you too, and as for your sister, don't you have someone to talk to? Ask for their opinion and maybe help? If you want someone to talk to I'm here okay? I also am in this situation for 4 years so I know it can be really thought... Sometimes trying to focus on something else can really help (something that can help a lot too, is breathing, breath for 3 seconds, hold it for 2, and slowly release it counting until 5), like learning Japanese it's a really good thing to do, and really wow! You're AMAZING girl!! (Seriously I tried cause I love animes but it's difficult heeelp :') )

Very good! Up to today I mainly feel emotional n mental tiredness But I deffiantly remember moment u felt social tiredness n didn't know how to interpret it N who didn't feel a burnout before in his life huh? I guess you need to listen to yourself before you exurt yourself It's so u conformable that tiredness builds up quietly n you usually only notice it when you're fatigue n with little patience to understand how to take care of yourself We all should take better care of our abilities levels and give ourselves the break we deserve or need without judging ourselves for being weak or slow or whatever It's human to feel tired and in need of relaxin n rest! Good night everybody 🙏🤝👍🤙

As a 35 “gifted kid” I can assure that you will have or learn all the skills for a workplace (this happened also to me when i finished my biology bachelor, master and PhD). Unfortunately, It won’t be a walk in the park, and it won’t vanish but you can do it!

Eh, this video came in handy I’ve been feeling so tired and useless lately I can’t even get out of bed in the morning. I’ve just been through a breakup with my best friend, but the hardest part was 2 of my close friends where behind this big lie and now I’m not sure who my friends are at all I’ve been feeling down, sad, and tired and I see that I have emotional tiredness but I’m slowly getting over the fact that my best friend for 6 and a half years betrayed me.
@howtowithelizabeth75134 жыл бұрын
I don’t think they were a real friend and the other 2 may not be either if there siding with the friend u broke up with True friends will stick by your side only It’s ok to be sad it’s ok to grieve but don’t let it destroy u I bet in a few years you’ll have new friends who are REAL and honestly it’s better to have a handful of real friends vs a crowd of fake/half assed friends who don’t really care about u That friend may of been using u being together that long then they discarded u once u no longer could serve them

Fix your sleep cycle I got mine all messed up staying up all night for months at a time and I’ve turned my brain nocturnal and I’m slowly fixing it and actually able to get stuff done during the day vs wasting the day sleeping and not being able to do much at night Melatonin is helping retrain my brain I’m taking it around 12-1 am and it’s working I’m now waking up around noon or 1 in the afternoon vs 5 in the afternoon like I was before
