Front end modifications look great.. I have a 50 also, and removed the bumper guards for the same reason. FYI. Cars manufactured east of Mississippi have 3 piece bumpers, west ,especially CA have one piece bumpers, which are a little cleaner look. They show up on line every once in a while. Headlights look perfect.

I’ll have to watch for those. Thanks

I once had the same issues with the headlights. However I did not have access to a welder and a full day. I simply bolted the headlight buckets from the back side of the inner fender. It worked for me. Just dropping this comment for people that want an easier way to do the same look. Take them out of the front and put them in the back. You can even add 1" bolts and nuts and "French" then in too.

It cleaned the front up a lot.

I like bumper guards....but it does look great without them!

You will need a photo handy to actually show people the before/after as those are so subtle but huge improvements.

Looks great! Did you make a video on how you bolted on the front bumper. I have a 54 Chevy 210 and it has a 80 Camaro front clip. I’m getting ready to fabricate some bumper brackets for it. Just curious on how you went about it

I just made some custom brackets the bolted to my new front frame rails to put the bumper right where I wanted it

You should flip the front bumper… gives it a different look.

looks like it's upside down then.
