Factory ordered Custom Bentley makes it unique and collectable, never to be further modified. I think the drive train wasn't done properly as the HP figures seem under done even for 20 years ago considering the money spent and the names brandied about. Also the bonnet and the stripping of the paint from it looks rough to be polite. All the dents coinciding with the support structure , the short stroke abrasion marks make it look like it was ready for paint and putty not a finished panel. Nothing wrong with a proper brushed finish but perhaps the people who did this should have looked at a Delorian first.
@ferricbhoy4 жыл бұрын
The seats are actually from a Fiat Coupe and re-trimmed at Mulliner Park Ward. The fuel tank is a fuel bladder from a Jaguar XJ220. The front indicators are Jag too. The bonnet was hand made and un-lacquered as Talamo wanted it to look raced in his dealership so he could choose to leave it marked or polish it up. Whilst the knurled dash is an old tradition it was the first Bentley in decades to get it and became a regular feature ever since. The yellow badges and fans are due to Talamo’s favourite colour being yellow, his dealership was Gialloquarante (yellow 40). The car had a standard non airbag Bentley steering wheel when delivered, the one in the video is a later modification. The roll cage is also trimmed in leather. The doors and boot were actually painted white and then the roundals masked and the doors and boot painted green. It’s great to see the car in such good condition- it was a great project to build!

One little thing I noticed which may had become standard on Bentley's later, but I really have no idea, I just know how this detail was in the older models... But the tachometer's been reworked also, kinda like when people tilt old 911's tachs to the side, so the needle points up at high/gear change rpm's, except in this case isn't a stock tach tilted, but simply a bespoke unit designed from the beginning to be that way. And I'm not gonna lie, I LOVED that small detail and thought it matched the car and dashboard much, much better than the stock unit!
