My elementary school had colors day where we did challenges like that and it was the best day of the entire year. Welp my middle school and high school didn’t continue that tradition of colors day on the second last day of the school year

I remember every year in our elementary school we would have field day. We would have scavenger hunts, egg races, hula hoop jumping, drawing on the floor with chalk as the hot summers sun was beating down on us. We would play the walking on the lines game and have snacks and go play with the huge colorful tent and have water balloon fights. Then the final thing we'd do is all get together and play capture the flag with the whole school. We also had the Terry Fox run. Which was like your run except it supported him because he had cancer so he decided to run across Canada. When we finished running around the field as our teachers checked off every province we "ran across", we'd have freezes. It was the best. I loved when we would have fun like that in elementary... And now just thinking about it makes me miss it all... Being a kid doesn't last forever. So be sure (if you are a kid reading this), that you make it the best moments in your life that you will cherish and love forever.
