THE 6.4 MILLION SCOVILLE INSTANT REGRET CHOCOLATE CHALLENGE | BeardMeatsFood

I've been reminded rather often lately that it's been some time since the last spicy challenge. So here we go...One 6.4 SHU bar of 'Instant Regret'.
There are no rules for completing this included in the bar packaging unlike other heat challenges I've done, but judging by what I've seen people seem to be eating two squares from the bar and attempting to last 5 minutes thereafter without refreshment. So that's what we're gonna do!
We're currently in the middle of a pretty hectic move, so I apologise that this one is a bit of a rush job and probably not the greatest video I've ever created, but I don't like to skip upload days, so hopefully it at least tides you over until the CHRISTMAS MINI-SERIES begins this Thursday at 7pm GMT!

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Alright, it's been a bit of a hectic week...We're in the middle of moving house, so I apologise that tonight's video isn't the greatest I've ever done, but I really hate to ever skip upload days and leave you folks hanging, so hopefully you'll let me off this one ;) The rules on this don't seem to really be official, but a few of the videos I saw in advance mentioned two squares of chocolate and five minutes after burn for the win...I ate a bit more. Thanks for the amazing support lately, the channel had 10 MILLION views this month which to me is something I never even dreamt of...Truly, humbling.. Anyway, we're trying to get in to the new place and ready in time for the Christmas mini-series, the first episode of which we've already filmed...And I think you're gonna love it! Johnathan Peer I’m an amateur Ultra Hot Sauce connoisseur and it absolutely is something you build a tolerance to over time. I’ve been eating Ultra Hot Sauces for about 8 years now, and it took me a few years to be able to stomach the hotter ones.. I don’t like extracts and Im pretty sure that’s what is in this chocolate to give it its heat and extremely high Scoville rating... Beard did a great job!

You need whole milk, it won't work with anything less. Half and half would be good too, the fats help combine with capsaicin oil and reduce the burn

Since capsaicin is oil based, the best thing to consume is something very oily, like literal veggie oil or butter. It will lift or dissolve the capsaicin off of your nociceptors. Warm oil would be best at solvating the capsaicin. Water is fairly useless, like trying to wash grease off your hands with plain water. Cold beverages make make you temporarily dull the pain sensation, but does not remove the actual capsaicin or dilute it in your stomach.

Capsaicin, the thing that makes it feel "hot", is an oil. To get rid of it you need something that can dissolve oils, fat will not do that as fat is an oily substance, milk and other cold stuff only gives temporary relief because of its temperature. To get rid of the burning sensation you need to dissolve the capsaicin oil.
