Maggie Smith and Alan Rickman are easily the best actors in the movies in terms of portraying their characters, but I’d argue that Daniel Radcliffe was also really good at portraying Harry Potter, especially in Order of the Phoenix. Also I can’t remember her name but the actress that played Dolores Umbridge also played her character perfectly

Let’s not forget the fact that Slughorn new information about one of Voldemort’s most important secrets, Horcruxes. Slughorn even suspected that Voldemort would want to kill him as his first ever meeting with Dumbledore and Harry pointed out as much. The fact that he was able to survive, where others like Igor failed, I’d say that’s pretty damn impressive.

Feel like Barty Crouch Jr should be number 6 over Remus. Death eater or not he still taught at Hogwarts for a year and was very skilled despite how little we see of him. He managed to take down Mad eye moody (despite him being past his best he was still extremely skilled) and impersonated him accurately for a year and was key in helping Voldemort come back to power. He’d have had a major hand in forming a rudimentary body for Voldemort and his knowledge of the dark arts was matched by few in the death eaters. Just my opinion tho :)

During Dumbledore and Voldemort's duel in the order of the Phoenix, Dumbledore was holding back but Voldemort was not if Dumbledore wanted to kill Voldemort he would have easily. I'm sure some people would disagree with me but its cool.

Problem is Dumbledore suspected Voldemort had ways of coming back. He already had Riddle's diary (a horcrux). He thought there might be more. So Dumbledore knew he couldn't kill Voldemort at the Ministry - not until all the other horcruxes had been eliminated.

I also agree that Professor Slughorn was also one of the most powerful professor because he can create Fèlix Felices or Liqiud Luck which is typically one of the hardest potion to make in the whole Harry Potter franchise.. So that proves that he is an outstanding potion master.. I don't know if this has been discussed on the channel but in one of the books (The deathly hallows I think) harry is holding three wands and sends stunning spells at someone and 3 stunning spells hit the person having a stronger effect. This begs the question, Why aren't wizards walking around with multiple wands at a time so they can send multiple spells at once doing more damage?

He was expected to do something like this, it was like cancelling the misdeeds so not much noble. 2. U would say he showed remorse; but remorse is seen as great when u were previously misdirected. He was forewarned by lily that he was going in wrong direction becoming a death Eater.... Again as a character he loved lily to greatest and I like him for that but on principle he didn't heed her advice! He was not misdirected he knew the consequences of going on wrong side! 3. I would have made it 8 myself, by adding Barty Crouch Jr a spot ahead of Lupin, and adding Professor Sprout at the bottom. As an honorable mention, I would name Hagrid. He was exceptionally gifted when it came to all things magical creatures, him being a half giant made him physically strong and incredibly resistant to spells (tanking several stunning spells from Dawlish, Umbridge, and 3 other Aurors), and he was able to successfully use a formerly broken wand disguised as an umbrella to do non verbal spells, including transfiguration, conjuration, and even combat spells.

Well I try to rank all professors from the least to most powerful 25-Cuthbert Binns-> Maybe in life he was powerful but in the ark of HP he is just a ghost, basically powerless 24-Sybill Trelawney->Basically a fraud who Dumbledore hire only to protect her from Voldemort and Death Eaters 23-Gilderoy Lockhart-> Basically a fraud n°2 who only excelled in memory charms. Nothing more than a funny secondary villain 22-Firenze-> Certainly more competent than Trelawney at divination, but apart from that I don't know what power he posses 21-Charity Burbage-> Her subject is basically completely theoretic, so it's difficult to determine just how powerfu she was. Considering how easily she is taken down in Deathly Hallows I won't put her in the upper league 20-Rubeus Hagrid->Very competent and knowledgeable in care of magical creatures, though having been expelled from Hogwarts he was not even allowed to have his wand. Probably if he was able to complete his education he would be much higher in the rank 19-Quirinus Quirrell-> While not a complete fraud like Lockhart and Trelawney he doesn't look particularly bright or talented has he was basically taken down by three 11 years old 18-Dolores Umbridge-> While on one hand I was tempted to rank her a bit higher since she was basically the n°2 of the ministry at the peak of her career, however Umbridge was easily defeated by three teenagers in Deathly Hallows and even Slughorn doesn't have kind words for her so, I rank her among the lowest 17-Aurora Sinistra-> Very little is known about her and her subject is largely theoretical, however I have the impression she could at least ranked higher than Umbridge or Quirrell 16-Rolanda Hooch-> She only teaches in the first year students, but I think her subject is underrated. It looks like she not only have skills in using a broom and as a Quidditch player and referee but she is probably very knowledgeable on how to actually make a magic broom 15-Batsheda Babbling-> Similar to Sinsitra, little is known about her and her subject is largely theoretical. Similarly to Sinistra I think she is at least more powerful than Umbridge or Quirrell 14-Septima Vector-> Like Sinistra and Babbling little is known about her and her subject is largely theoretical. I rank her a bit higher because Hermione loves her and so, if Hermione thinks highly of her there must be a reason. Also, she openly disrespect Umbridge and seems completely unafraid of her, so she was probably confident she could take her down in a duel 13-Wylkie Twycross-> The students hate him and he hates them back, Hermione aside. However apparition is a very difficult art which he masters to the highest level 12-Alecto Carrow-> While her subject is purely theoretical I don't think the Dark Lord will send to Hogwarts someone he considers an idiot, also considering the fact that Hogwarts had a lot of powerful witches and wizards loyal to Dumbledore. She is proflicient in dark arts and know how to use the unforgivable curses 11-Whilelmina Grubbly Pank-> Her subject is a very difficult one and she looks extremely competent at it, even more than Hagrid 10-Silvanus Kettelburn-> He retires before Harry starts studiyng Care of magical creatures but from the little we know of him it looks like he is almost at Newt Scamander's level on the subject. 9-Amicus Carrow-> If the Dark Lord himself sends him to teach the Dark Arts to the students he wants to turn into death eaters there must be a reason 8-Pomona Sprout-> Head of the house of Hufflepuff, teacher of herbology, proflicient also in potion and healing up to the point to cure students petrified by a Basilisk 7-Remus Lupin-> Likely the most competent DADA teacher Harry had in seven years 6-Barty Crouch junior-> Probably only Bellatrix Lestrange is more powerful than him among Death Eaters. Drove to madness and insaty the Longbottoms, kidnap and imperiused none other than Mad Eye Moody and poses as him for an entire year. He was certainly proflicient in dark arts, defence against dark arts, potions and occlumancy (he was able to shield his mind from Snape and Dumbledore for an entire year) The top 5 are exactly the same from the video so no need to add anything that hasn't been said about them in the video 5-Filius Flitwick 4-Horace Slughorn 3-Minerva McGonagall-> Only thing to add, after the series end she is probably the most powerful character left alive as Dumbledore, Voldemort, Grindelwad, Snape, Moody and Bellatrix have all died.
