The $65 iPhone Parts Only eBay Lot

Today Tanner Miller unboxed a $65 “Parts Only” Lot of 12 untested broken cracked iPhones he got from eBay. Some turned out to actually be not iCloud locked, or FMI OFF. Pretty cool. Sucks that most of the older phones can’t even be used with a carrier now so they’re practically obsolete

this is true, but only the iPhone 6 and up support volte, so the 5s and under wont be able to make phone calls when carriers get rid of 3g. But for now all of the phones in the video could be used on a carrier that still has 3g and make/receive calls except for the CDMA iPhone 4

How come iPhone lots from eBay are sometimes cheap when I look up iPhone lots from eBay I saw most of then are expensive

It's very hard to find cheap ones, and ones that are actually worth anything and not completely destroyed. Takes a long while of combing through listings to find a decent lot.

I got not good condition iphone 8 wihout finger print faster and crack black glass for around 35$ it that worth? Cuz i check in 3utool everything is org but battery and font camera and finger printer reader are not i also guess display is not screen either cuz is miss matching color

The most valuable thing imo is the iphone 5 on iOS 7.0.x, with sliver u can possibly remove the passcode and use it. Maybe access the owners info and contact them about removing FMI. iPhone 6S probably needs a proper board cleaning or tristar replacement, but it has iOS 12 which isnt great by any means. (11-14 is junk, 10 is great and 9 is also junk)

ios 13 was ok for me , so was late ios 12, but early ios 12 sucked. ios 14 sucks so far too. as for ios 9 though, i loved ios 9

Tanner Miller I mean, iOS 11-14 have a horrible ui and only support 64bit. iOS 9 was like iOS 8 but with glitches, introduced app thinning and offered inferior performance across the board. Literally every device with A8X and lower performed better with iOS 8. While iOS 10 was the only exeption cuz that time Apple actually improved the OS. But sadly they removed most of the features with iOS 11 and never introduced them again. Like a superior control center, a really good notification center (short swipe to directly access spotlight search along with 8 recent apps, long swipe to access notifications themselves, which are sorted by time, and also by day, like u can clearly see "Yesterday", "Friday", etc. Something that iOS 12-14 just dont have, i tried messing around in settings but there is no way).

i like the 11-14 ui and control center tbh as for performance and bugs on ios 9 i didnt have that issue. early ios 9 was a bit rough but it soon was smoother. i was using an iPod touch 6 at the time though which might be why i didnt notice performance issues since it was a newer device for the time

@@TannerFixesTech yep, I also had an iPod touch 6th gen, and afaik the performance of iOS 10 beta 1 was already better than iOS 9.3.2. As for iOS 11-14 control center, do u actually enjoy the awkward Wifi+Airplane mode+bluetooth+cellular toggles position? They are stuffed into a square, that's ridiculous. And u have to long press it just to access the AirDrop menu. Ah, and to actually turn off wifi+bluetooth u have to go to settings, lol. Apple sure messed it up. iOS 10 on iPhone 7 (daily driver), has more features and is easier to use. And can be sold for a good price later on.
