I talked about this with my wife, and they brought up a good point: Even if the Red Scabbards could have done anything before (Kinnemon taking out Doflamingo, Raizo taking out Jack, etc.), they needed to be stealthy and wait to reunite. Ashura also called Jack a “small-fry”, implying all 9 of them were that level.

I'm certain that most scabbards are not on the level of Doflamingo or Jack, the latter holding his own against Inu and Neko for days without break while Inu and Neko taking shifts. Ashura called him that, but that doesn't let us know who would win if both did go all out. It's just trash talk. In similar sense, Jack thought he could go after Doflamingo who was protected by multiple top tier people and the result was no surprise. Imho, this form of Kaido just sucks against multiple strong human-sized people who spent years planning how to counter him and his techniques. It makes him an easy target to hit. But once he goes base form and starts to speed blitz them one by one, as he did with Luffy, it will be a different story. That doesn't mean the Scabbards are weak, far from it, but i still believe someone like Katakuri, in a one-by-one scenario, is mid-diffing most of them at worst.

Everyone reacting to this chapter seems to be most impressed with Raizo, but to me he is still the weakest scabbard, he can only ever be as strong as his opponent and it probably wouldn't work multiple times. this is like Usopp using the impact dial to absorb luffy's punch and deal that damage back to him, impressive for usopp and impressive for Raizo but most of the other scabbards will fair better.

It’s wild to me that it never crossed your mind that the Scabbards were good enough to do damage to Kaido 20 years ago before time travel. You’re immediately insinuating that the ones who traveled in time are as strong as the ones who didn’t. There has been no feats to show that. That scroll has very little to do with Raizo’s strength/skill level and it has everything to do with that scroll being OP. Yes, it’s an ass pull, don’t get me wrong, but it adds up. Chalk it up to Raizo having an OP scroll that he’s been saving for this moment. He did say that a true ninja doesn’t just show everything to everybody when we first met him in Zou. Kin being able to cut Blast Breath bc he’s the complete counter to that specific move, just like Luffy and Enel. Luffy wasn’t even close to Enel’s power, but it worked in his favor bc of specific abilities. That’s all it is bruh. For all we know, everyone who got left behind is way above the ones who traveled in time, but it’s an easy assumption that these scabbards are skilled enough to damage Kaido 20 years ago pre-time travel bc of Ryou

I think Raizo has a pocket dimension paramecia devil fruit. I would say its an advanced version of the pocket devil fruit one of whitebeards commanders had in marine ford. I think the clones are really instances of himself. For example;; he goes into the pocket dimension, and then he opens the pocket space exit in one or multiple locations and imitates the clone jutsu from naruto. I also believe we should all watch what Raizo does in the Udon prison. He actually uses his pocket dimension to appear out of nowhere and transport things. He also said something about being able to infiltrate anything. I could be off about him transporting things. But I think he used it for the keys.

This is probably speculation but the scroll probably wouldn't work on Jack. Unlike Kaido, Jack's just a Mammoth who only uses his weight as a weapon. He do what he did to Kaido because Jack has no attacks to absorb and reflect.
