It could be possible now, however not exactly sponsored by 313. Modding in Halo infinite, will be infinite if I may say so. We will be pretty much able to do campaign levels, control AIs, and even script the game as we wish through Forge, and considering PC port, the only limit will be our imagination. Kat's death will always be a personal favourite of mine. Sure Jorge went first, but his was a noble (forgive the pun) sacrifice. Kat truly died out of the blue in a completely unexpected manner. It really gave the feeling that no spartan was safe (especially as she was one of the members of noble team you had spent the most time with)

Emile shouldn't have even been on the mass driver to begin with. Emile would have been way more useful helping Six clear the area. There should have been a squad of marines on the and protecting the mass driver so 6 and Emile could have lived. It makes way more sense from a strategic standpoint.

Emile’s death is probably my favorite. His final words of, “I’m ready! How about you?” As he takes his attacker down with him really makes it feel epic, much more so than Kat’s death in my opinion, where she just anticlimactically gets shot in the head and dies.

Kat's death is quite a different scenario as when we see Emile die we know he faces his fears of dying in his final moments accepting death and thus asking his foe the same. With Kat on the other hand it's supposed to be a moment that bring shock into the player being that Kat was taken out so quickly in a way which showed just how dire their situatuon was. If a Spartan, one of humanities greatest supersoldiers, could be taken out so quickly and unexpectedly then what hope did humanity have in winning the war. It fits well with the loss of Reach in how some of the strongest things humanity had were taken out and overrun so easily and so quickly. Kat's death shows that on a individual level which is why I think it shouldn't be looked upon as anticlimactic but as tragically and scarily sudden art.

One of my favorites is Kurts death from ghosts of onyx. He took down an entire Covenant fleet and died saving what remained of his Spartan 3’s.

Will's death was one of the most badass ways for an outnumbered and outmatched Spartan to go out. He tackled two Hunters off a hill, and took them on hand-to-hand, something that put all other nearby Covenant in an absolute stupor because nobody had ever dared to do so before. And even after being shot point-blank with a Fuel Rod Cannon, he still walked towards the other Hunter for a couple of steps before falling. Will went out a champion, and one that would have doubtless inspired terror in the Covenant, had any of the witnesses lived to tell the tale of a demon who tore a lekgolo in half with his bare hands.

Spartan Will honestly had one of my favorite deaths in all of Halo. He went out literally punching a pair of hunters to death. He actually managed to take one down before getting blasted by the other, after which he still managed to take one last step before finally collapsing, as if his mind was still in the fight, but his body was simply no longer able.

Something to add to Sam's death and it's effect on John. In the books (don't remember exactly which book) there is a conversation John has with his instructor about "lives spent vs lives wasted" just after the the Spartans body modification part of becoming a spartan which most of the recruits did not survive or were left physically marred and handicapped. Aside from chiefs gym incident he's always held some empathy for his fallen comrades.

I would say one of my favorite deaths in the Halo franchise is Sergeant Ghost's death from Halo Legends Prototype short film. Ghost is a sad man who lost his entire platoon on a firefight 3 years before the day his death would come. Algolis is under attack by the Covenant and Ghost was assign to destroy all data and prototypes so the Covenant couldn't get their hands on anything. Not wanting to repeat history again, he decides to take action into his own hands and saves his men and stays behind to die. But the most ironic thing about Ghost's character as a whole is how he felt as a ghost, not being able to feel the pain but when it just wasn't the case. In the end, he remembers one thing from his fallen soldier, just to be human so he would be like a ghost and feel something inside. In the end, he goes out with a bang as he was able to become human again.

I disagree with the assumption that Thel would've been receptive to Sesa/Guilty Spark's attempts to show him the truth. This was Thel's first mission as Arbiter for the Prophets after his disgrace in front of the council. He was overcome with shame and was eager to serve the Prophets in any way he could to redeem himself, I can't say he would've been agro and killed Sesa there, but I don't think he would've turned on the Covenant so quickly. Sesa was only able to plant the seed, Thel needed the rest of his journey to see the truth. In my opinion ofc

343 really handled it well. Halo 4 may be looked down upon by the halo community (myself included) but it’s one of the strongest and most memorable parts of the series despite happening in a less than stellar game

The only thing I would have changed about Reach, is I would have had Jun die in Kat's place, it would have been just as ironic to have "the sniper" be shot in the head, and I think Kat leaving with Halsey would have been more fitting as they clashed earlier in the story and she was probably the "smartest" of noble team so would have been a good match to escort Halsey 🤷

@@Super50ldier The Prophet of Truth literally tricked the entire Covenant to start a genocidal campaign against Humanity which lead to billions of human lives lost. He planned to have the entire Sangheili race extinct and he also planned to use the Ark to fire the Halo Array to kill off all life in the galaxy and repopulate it with his followers. For the latter, he was the only Prophet who knew that the Great Journey was a lie. He did all of it because he wanted to be a god. How was his actions not heinous ?

Kurt's death is my #1 simply because in his final moments he started hallucinating and having visions of every single Spartan 2 and 3 that had ever died coming back to support him like a huge spartan army. Think about it; Sam, Jorge, Noble Team, Daisy, Cal, Spartan 3s Alpha and Beta company. Every single spartan that was MIA or KIA came to have his back. And that was what motivated Kurt to stand and fight a Whole Covenant Armada.

It always bums me that we dont get to play Rookie more than odst. He was my favorite character in the entire halo storyline. Rookie was cool because he is no super soldier nor just a marine, he is a odst with one of the coolest squads I've ever seen. It's a real shame that a rebel shot him out of fear. That last look at buck in that helmet before being shot. R.I.P Rookie, you'll be one of the most important characters, along with Sergeant Johnson, I'll remember.

I am 25 years old and I had tears rolling down my face like I lost a family member when Cortana’s Echo recording played in the end of infinite. It was the single most emotional moment I’ve ever had with a video game. It was like as I was watching that scene, my whole childhood with Halo replayed. From back on the OG x box playing CE and 2 with my stepfather. From the split screen play throughs with my childhood friends on halo 3, playing multiplayer for countless hours or just screwing around in custom matches. To putting down my controller mid game in halo 4 when my mother and stepfather announced their divorce to me. To halo 5 when I may or may not have taken Multiplayer a little too seriously because I was so dang good at it but I hated the multiplayer so damn much. Don’t even get me started on the campaign… To me watching the Cortana echo scene after my first complete play through. Where I sat in my room in my apartment. From an innocent child to a responsible adult, I have always had Halo. Many won’t understand how much that can mean to someone.

In all fairness, by the end of the Forerunner v Flood war, there were mere handfuls left of the forerunner population, and with Mendicant Bias’s betrayal, they were left crippled and defenseless, outside of the suicide option of the halo rings. Which I hope they start revealing the BIG rings, cuz I don’t remember them being confirmed destroyed. Unlike their smaller counterparts we all know and love, lol

Here's a tip. When dealing with the flood in hale CE, shoot the infection form lodged in both combat and carrier forms chest, with a pistol or sniper. I gives the same effect as a headshot for the covenent.
