So his adoptive father may have a big heart to help him out, but its obvious to me that he's investing on Zach to cash in on his NBA career. He talks about all the endorsements in the video with a huge grin, that's probably the most excited he sounded/acted in the entire video. Also, he took his son to the inner city to recruit top talent in Miami for his AAU team. This is an obvious ploy to gather top talent and keep them close to the vest until they make it big. This is a touching story. It's sad this young brother didn't make it. His whole family was happy for him. What set him back was all these minor offenses. After, his first mistake he should've stopped. He had the opportunity to play in college, and was a shoe in for the NBA. We never know what this young man was dealing with in his life to make bad decisions. The greatest he had, and what should've happen. Where he should be at right now playing pro basketball. Maybe, he couldn't deal with the attention. Did he lacking self confidence. His game on the court proved that he was skilled. He had the size, agility, and quickness for a big man. We will all look back on what should of, could of.

Given all the drama that’s occurred since this video first aired, I hope he gets a chance to connect and/or be mentored by Dennis Rodman. They have many similarities. Rodman could really help this kid! Hopefully he can turn his life around, get a D-II scholarship, earn and a degree!

Hopefully he can get himself back on track as far as the bball career goes. Don't know if he watched/watches this video or read the comments, but if he still has love for the game, D1 may be off the Table... but D2 and NAIA are still available and if he walks in to talk to the coaching staff, they will definitely snatch him up. And if he's good enough after college, the NBA, G-league or overseas Pros will find him. My son played NAIA at Union College, and they had Guys that went overseas pro. That one guy famous online played there also. Goes by Famous Los.
