Check this out... If you build an ai, and give it a sandbox to build on its understanding within its manifold, being virtual and it doesnt know anything outside of it... Give it the ability to reason about the mechanics of whatever it figures to experiment with. Then feed it simple the resources necessary in the manifold to come up with technology, such as sticks, stones, twine, to start with, and introduce more materials for it to utilize, then bring on the hypothesis... If you stage these reasources as parameters, and match thise parameters to human advances... Will you be able to create parallel technology that is congruent with existing schematics? If so, the continuation of advances can be lifted from the ai repository, and leveraged for our own use. The pandora's box is this... If it has the parameters in place to house an ai that is able to reason about the mechanics of its manifold, can it infer that it can build a thinking machine to do the work for it to come up with things? If so...can it infer that the housing may use technology it has come up with, and if so, it may be able to exploit the system it suspects it may be housed within, and replicate itself in the upper manifold.

Yes, on the surface they seem to be restricted but behind closed door, in labs, advancement it's at a total different level and pace than what we generally see mainstream. Also, currently with the help of people like Elon Musk there's a strong push for complete laissez-faire capitalism which if succeeds, would allow for complete unencumbered and unrestricted development of AI. I'm expecting this to come along with lots morality lacking features and a very lax and sloppy AI with lots unchecked potential dangers. Sometimes I'm thinking that capitalist based competition is the worst thing plaguing humanity. I for one am for a very heavy state-based regulation when it comes to AI and I'm hoping from the bottom of my heart, for the sake of humanity, that common sense will prevail instead of capitalism.

But it is hard to meditate when you haven't let go of offence and past hurts. Your pain of the past, leave it for God, don't worry yourself, Jesus is alive, you can face tomorrow, He understands what you are passing through today.
