I am dating right now. And my friends are dating. Usually, a woman likes one man out of a few. It's actually nice to hear that you are a priority from that one man. A busy man won't have time on his hands to date other women when he feels something for one. He will start investing in her. Unfortunately, a lot of dating advice teaches you how to manipulate. There are so many other situations besides sex where you need to say, "Is it ok if I...." Anything that has to do with what she owns or her family. Even something like ordering for her at a restaurant. Do NOT try that unless you ask first--and that's still pretty risky; some may like it, some won't. Maybe Tripp meant deciding things exclusively in your own life, but that wasn't clear in the video.

i dont quite understand the third point on commenting on a girls appearance, i totally understand to not give validation in the beginning stages ( first dates etc) and i totally understand about not critisising when in a relationship with a woman as they definitely will not forget this, i also think by constantly complimenting your woman ( almost putting her on a pedestal) - that can be detrimental and turn her off. but from my understanding feminine energy does grow through praise... so are you saying even when you're in a relationship with a woman to never throw her a compliment her way even if its heart felt / genuine? hope this makes sense

I'm not sure if this counts as the last one but instead of asking why someone is single, assuming she's been dating a while I'd ask how come it's not worked out for you so far? This is usually leads to a compliment like you're attractive, ambitious etc. Whether it is a turn off I don't know but it is interesting to find out and it can spark a conversation

Just curious, how do you actually ask for consent before sex or kissing. So the energy is building up and then a guy says: Can I kiss you? Well, when that happened to me - it was an instant turn-off!
