The 75th Ranger Regiment: All battalions meet at Ranger Rendezvous 2024

Last week, Rangers, veterans, families, and friends all gathered to celebrate the Regiment and honor the courage and commitment of Rangers past, present, and future.
We celebrated the Ranger Way, with lots of tough physical training, intense and spirited competitions between all the battalions, and by enjoying great food and music with our families and friends.
Finally, we bid a heartfelt farewell to one great commander while welcoming another during the Regimental Change of Command ceremony.
Last week, we remembered the sacrifices, celebrated the triumphs, and now we look forward to a future of continued perseverance.

My advice to you is to be able to disconnect your mind from your body while you’re getting your ass handed to you. Just close your eyes or what ever and disconnect. Because if you don’t your mind will convince you to quit. That run from Jump School to RASP, for me it was RIP, is no joke and it’s just a start.

The way that the new AGSU comes together with the bloused trouser legs into the WWII-era brown jump boots and the tan beret...it's almost worth the black beret having been stolen from the Rangers over twenty years ago by that General directive. Just badassed, through and through!

I'd be interested in a video of the Knights Armament LMG. I know the regiment has some and I'd like to hear about it from an operators perspective. I think it could be one of the greatest advancements in small arms technology in a while--although its very similar to the Ultimax machine gun designed by Jim Sullivan. Still, the operating mechanism seems like it would be very effective and it seems the only reason it hasn't seen greater adoption across NATO forces is the simple fact that the previous generation of machine guns work fine so the performance increase isn't necessarily worth the price for most military forces.
