Ample MII Lite (free) has a number of limitations from the paid version, as you might expect. One to be aware of is strings 2-6 only sound up to fret 4. First string sounds all the way up. So you have every note but not in a very guitaristic way. It's ok for first position "cowboy" chords, and does sound nice.

OK, you got me. Second video that I'm watching in the last 10 minutes and I've subscribed, liked and shared. Love that you're promoting free plugins. They are highly underrated but VERY effective. Guitar plugins tend to be "harpy". Ample and Spitfire are amazing even with their free stuff.

I have the same issue with all these videos ,,, how are you controlling the sound ? Is your guitar plugged in and it's the guitar acting as a controller making the software play ? Or you have to click the onscreen buttons with a mouse ? Which isn't playing an instrument at all obviously. If you can't use a real guitar with it then its totally pointless to me. Sounds like a MIDI interface is as close as it gets.
