Cody g you need to learn about cancer, I beat prostate cancer twice in the last 6 years. Been running most of my life. No symptoms just happened with yearly check ups. Caught it early. Only took 8 moths off after surgery. I am 57 years old, because I got yearly check ups.

You know what mindrapeart, some people just want to spread rumors because they are jealous because they can't run. And this runner looks VERY good for his age. My dad is 89 yrs old still goes to Seniors fitness center. Walks 30 minutes after breakfast everyday. He eats organic food for decade and 100 healthy food. He never miss a day at the gym. After the gym he reads books after reading books he watches MAD MONEY with Mr . Cramer. That’s been his routine for decades

Whenever I get overwhelmed by competition or anxiety, I like to watch Ed run in this video for a moment of objectiveness. It reminds me that it isn't necessarily about running fast. It's about keeping on running.

Amazing - I hope I'm like that when I'm that age. However I do find it somewhat sad when he says he doesn't particularly enjoy the training/running itself. I think running isn't easy to like, but I strongly believe there is a deep joy that can be discovered. It's not instant gratification or joy like some other activities, but... I don't know, I just feel there's a smooth joy hidden in there somewhere, and finding it and learning how to appreciate it in the moment is really... peaceful. I don't know how to describe... Anyways congrats - a model.

I enjoy so many things about it. The running itself, the benefits, how it fixed my knees, The breathing, The way it smells after rain, the views, the city, the trails or country you can only see this way while running, the euphoria, the calm, relaxation it brings. Running through muddy trails at speed. Even how my body warms up when running winter days at -20 Celsius. I don’t even have to wear gloves or a toque.

@@therespectedlex9794 Or maybe he has just been taking care of himself his entire life and didn't destroy his body with bullshit habits like you? Not everyone who is better than you is on "drugs", typical excuse from manlets when they see anyone who has achieved more than them physically, "HE IS ON STEROIDS REEEEEEEEE", if you don't want to change yourself then don't, it's your life and you should have full freedom to destroy yourself however you want, but the moment you try to bring other people down to your level because you get lonely at the bottom, you are a problem.

You don't know anything about my personal habits. I make a satirical joke and there has always been someone like you, incapable of bonding with other men this way, who has to lash out and put down. He was Olympic caliber in England until injured around 20. Basically started masters running in Canada. He ran incredible times from his late 40s through his 70s. In all distances. His 2:54 marathon time at age 72 is age graded as a 2:05. Unreal!
