Whenever I get overwhelmed by competition or anxiety, I like to watch Ed run in this video for a moment of objectiveness. It reminds me that it isn't necessarily about running fast. It's about keeping on running.
@logiconabstractions65965 жыл бұрын
Amazing - I hope I'm like that when I'm that age. However I do find it somewhat sad when he says he doesn't particularly enjoy the training/running itself. I think running isn't easy to like, but I strongly believe there is a deep joy that can be discovered. It's not instant gratification or joy like some other activities, but... I don't know, I just feel there's a smooth joy hidden in there somewhere, and finding it and learning how to appreciate it in the moment is really... peaceful. I don't know how to describe... Anyways congrats - a model.

I enjoy so many things about it. The running itself, the benefits, how it fixed my knees, The breathing, The way it smells after rain, the views, the city, the trails or country you can only see this way while running, the euphoria, the calm, relaxation it brings. Running through muddy trails at speed. Even how my body warms up when running winter days at -20 Celsius. I don’t even have to wear gloves or a toque.
