I am not Korean - but I started making home made kimchi. It is delicious. The recipes online posted by the countless amazing Korean families have changed my life. I totally get what the mother and daughter were talking about in the second clip. I crave Kimchi all the time now, and I am going on a trip to see my family in another state and I am already thinking about bringing my stuff to make it for them all there!!!! I don't have Korean blood, but man... It will be a staple in my cuisine for the rest of my life. Thanks for sharing!

Im a filipina but I love kimchi so much. My husband got addicted with this too because I influenced him. 😅 The first time he tasted it he jokingly said that Im a goat because its like a fresh grass. But look at him now. He would always give me money just to go to korean grocery. Or to buy from my aunt who worked ages ago in korea and is really good in making kimchi. One time I tried making kimchi and he said that the smell is close enought but way to go for the taste. 😅 Hope i could make it perfectly one day. ❤️
