One of my best friends was a wrestler and did the job for the WWF from 91 to 95 ish, he's had money stuck in his mouth by The million dollar man, he has been in Undertaker's body bag..he's done it all. He's good friends with Barry Hardy who also lives in my area. So K is for Kid Collins!

One thing that helps to make Curt Hennig the GOAT, is that he always let the jobbers get in a little bit of offense, maybe a minute or so, before destroying them. It always made them look just a tad bit better

My favorite “jobber” was the Lightning Kid, or the L Kid, or the Kid. I stopped watching wrestling before Syxx became a name with the nWo, so I never saw Waltman in his prime. S.D. Jones was a rare case of a Wimp (jobber) having a WWF figure! The best wimps were the 1's used to grow the storyline. Like Brady Boone when Demolition kept Decapitating him and Billy Jack Haynes & Ken Patera (the Trail Blazers) came to his aid, only to get squashed themselves. Or really entertaining moments like when Dave Studemeyer di his rain dance to the HonkyTonk Man's song. Also Shawn Michaels once super-kicked a wimp outside the ring, then waited for the ref to reach 9 count, before sliding back inside and winning against a wimp by count-out!

@@zlinedavidYeah, but Horowitz actually wound up being given a minor push during his feud with Chris Candido/Skip in 1995/1996, so I think that kind of DQs him from contention.

great video. Yes a 2nd one will be good. Also a video of Jobbers that got their big break - remember Matt and Jeff Hardy, took them years to get somewhere, but even as jobber Jeff, he took amazing punishment.

I'm familiar with Toad! He was big in the late 90s early 2000s on the Raleigh, NC Indy scene. I would see him jogging along with Murry Halper who wrestled as Otto Schwanz and one of the Dupp Brothers in ECW along the Crabtree Valley nature trails. I think Toad went on to be a barber.

Dale Wolfe and George South are known to be GREAT trainers. "Snake Watson" sounds like at least a mid-card name. "Peter Weeks" sounds like a tag team member. I also remember Bobby "The Brain" Heenan saying this about Ricky Ataki: "After you wrestle him, you want to wrestle him again five minutes later." or something like that.

Some of the first jobbers I remember watching were Terry Gibbs, Rick Renslow, Chris Duffy and Tom Stone. Mike Blackwell also deserves a mention for no-selling all of the Skyscrapers' offence in a 1989 NWA/WCW squash match.
