Beautiful, stunning, this is one of my favorite walks. The woodlands look beautiful and peaceful. Idk why but this one touched me. That would be a place I would want as a final resting place too. It's gorgeous. Thank you for sharing ❤️🧡❤️🧡

You're most welcome! It is a super place, and the whole area is wonderful to explore. Abbotsbury, the village just south of the chapel, is worth a visit too if you haven't already. 🙂

Love finding curious places tucked away in the woods...and I'm loving those painted stones. Nice to see that the place hasn't become totally forgotten and people are still using the altar for offerings

Absolutely loved this Nic, brilliantly film, beautiful drone shots and loved the POV walking through the woods. The ruins and shrine are so lovely and tbh I was surprised to see the shrine in such good condition and still used. Great job m8 👍🏻

I absolutely love that church ruin. I went there last year, and it really did have a unique tranquillity to it, I could of been there all day. The cross was in a different part of the ruin when I was there. I wonder if it's a part of the original church.

I agree. So tranquil and almost otherworldly to me. Interesting about the cross! I'm not sure if it's original. I read the Milne-Watsons added the altar in the 1920s, but whether the cross was earlier, I'm not sure.

OMG I was horrified to see that National Treasure just sitting out in the open where a thief can just come along and steal it. That cross should be replaced with a replica and the original put on display at a museum.
