Christchurch seems to have been a hub for a lot of historical events and all those different periods of architecture still survive too! Poor Mrs Perkins...burial alive must have been a common fear back then...super walkaround!

Wow, thoroughly enjoyed that Nic. I grew up in Christchurch (New Zealand) which also has a river Avon running through it and was officially twinned with Christchurch, Dorset in 1972. Although our Chch is no where near as old and historical as yours😄 Thank you for a wonderful tour 💛

Ahh, this is amazing! When you drive into the Christchurch here, there's a sign saying twinned with Christchurch, New Zealand! I never knew you also have a river Avon, too! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour! 😊
