After finally finishing the actual videos, something I noticed is that Scampy goes oddly quiet for way too long whenever something strange happens, specifically in Asylum, Horror, and at the end of Cry of Chaos. He doesn't even end the videos properly except for Cry of Chaos. I don't know if this necessarily means anything but it was pretty strange 🤔

24:23 I'm really glad you said this Soup, and its pretty true, my brother is an example of having been mistreated a lot due to disabilities he was born with, I know its based on interpretation too but for me, seeing something that expresses in some way how that mistreatment might make others feel outcasted by society be so overlooked is saddening as it does spread a good message of treating people with equal respect, and I think a lot of this world still needs a message like that to be spread :(

I think what's so sad is that there's no happy ending here. The game creator, Sam, never got the help he needed, and for all we know might not even be alive by the time the videos begin uploading. The uploader, Scampy, feels like he's trying to understand why this happened, but how can he? To live in Sam's shoes means to ultimately isolate yourself from any kind of potential outreach. To become like Sam you must be not only alone, but shunned. If the story is going the 'obsessed with the meaning of it all' route, which I think is plausible, I'm pretty sure we'll see Scampy post less and less but have the videos become more unhinged until, ultimately, ending up in the same self-made hole Sam was in at the end. Or he starts like an apocalypse idk either are plausible atp. Wonderful video as always!! Keep it up!!

one connection to note is that the Theseus namesake of the Theseus Hospital is the name of the dude who went into the minotaur maze and killed the minotaur, connecting it to the previous game. in the original minotaur myth, outcasts from Athens (specifically children) were sent to the maze to feed the minotaur by the command of king of Minos. maybe that's what the crowd that watches you outside the maze represents? or what it allegories?

Games are such a great way to spend your free time and so enriching to your life, they're truly underrated. I used to play Skyrim 10 hours a day, when my parents went to bed I'd take my Xbox downstairs to keep playing. Then, my acne cleared up, i lost some weight and fell in love with a gorgeous girl at college. I haven't played since, but the memories are still so dear to me. Me and her stopped seeing each other bout 4 years ago and a few relationships later I started seeing this other gal, she was a big fan of Animal Crossing and she showed me her farm and all that stuff, and it took me back to nostalgic memories. Animal Crossing is kind of like an RPG, right, guys? We play all the time in bed, I guess I'm still a gamer after all and always will be.

My personal theory on this centers all around the minotaur In the original story of the minotaur is that he was born half cattle and half human through no fault of his own, and because he was born abnormal in body and behavior, he was outcast by even the outcasts and trapped in a maze as a monster for his entire life AbnormalSam himself seems to be uncommon as well, given his username, so i think the meaning of this arg is how people different from the status quo are dehumanized and mistreated, even when theyre different in ways that CANT be their fault (neurodivergency, mental illness, inherited illnesses both physical and mental, being anything other than hetero and cis, etc etc)

I stopped watching it and unsubbed cuz of the mid, seemingly nonexistent tale going on. Also they keep deleting their videos for whatever reason and it's really just annoying when something releases only to then afterwards get removed, like prepare your project properly lol. I also don't find its format storytelling to be much of anything noteworthy at all.
