This was my last Moon and I had been trying it with multiple methods for a while, but after watching your video I managed to get exactly 100 jumps in less than 24 hours. There is a little bit of timing for when to jump and throw (and to be honest just luck to find that timing) but once I had it it was solid. Finally finished this game, thank you.

I feel like i have to tell somebody this, but i finally completed the 100 jump challenge after 3 hours of attempts and enough rage and frustration. And i was ready to give up and not play mario odyssey anymore if i can't 100% the game with all moons. But watching your video and zoning out halfway through my attempt got me this insane victory. So long story short, thank you for the tricks and tips.

Finally, I did it. And here's how. 1. Focus on the rope and also jump when the woman says "Hey". It's advisable to NOT look at the counter. 2. Jump normally until 50, where you begin to throw Cappy (best combination for this is B and then B and Y when you hit 50) 3. This will sound cliché af, but just keep trying.

This jumping hat trick works. I completed this today because of this video. What helped for me was to begin by jumping normally up until 45-50 jumps and then begin the jump and cappy throw. There is a rhythm to this and once you find it you are golden. It took me less then 10 tries doing this method. Thank Princess Toadstool for your wisdom!

I found the secret is once it is at its maximum speed, just do little jumps and get in a rhythm. If you get the right height, it works all the way.

So I just found the best way!! Put the volume of the switch at max, and then close your eyes and just tap A whenever she says hey, I did it first try using this method. Also all I did was a quick tap each jump. Hope it helps

the cap throw thing made it so much easier, because with that you can skip 2 revolutions instead of just doing 1 jump at a time

My tips: 1.Its a bit easier with the pro controller so if you have one use it and see if you can get more jumps. 2. When you hit 40 jumps i recommend doing shorter jumps by pressing A or B for shorter time periods. 3. When you hit 50 jumps whenever one of the ladies say "Hey!", Jump.

I literally spent an hr on this and my best was 66. Right after I watched after a couple tries(first above 40 after seeing this) I got 101! I literally just pressed A and X at the same time as fast as I could and I couldn’t believe it was that easy.

There's also a glitch that you can use to get the r out of bounds and you can stand on top of the r while the rope moves around Mario and you can get a hundred or more jumps that way too I did that earlier today and it worked out for me pretty good

Jun 2020, don't know how many patches or how it was changed but I tried the motorcycle with no luck at all and the hat trick with no luck at all. I managed to reach 101 jumps just jumping normally. Was getting frustrated because that was the only moon missing.

What I found more useful for me was to mute all the sound and only focus on the jumps. Found it easier to find the rhythm of the jumps that way.

This challenge is one in which you will have to rely on being 100% extremely lucky to get this moon. It's not impossible but it's really hard to tell the difference with the line being tragically blurred. The frustration will ultimately get the best of most people & my opinion is you shouldn't really have to rely on 100% luck to get any moon because that is exactly what this is regarding this Metro Kingdom moon unfortunately so. It's an extremely giant headache especially when most moons have been set at a relatively easy challenge setting by default and then you get to this moon & it's completely off the difficulty spectrum. This moon right here is the definitive reason why Galoob Toys decided over 30 years ago that they had been tediously had by Nintendo and decided they would even the playing field with the arrival of the "GAME GENIE" giving the people of the earth the ultimate power once and for all beating Nintendo programmers @their own game in being able to finally overcome unbearable tedious gameplay particularly Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden😔😫🤕😢 Heartbreaking, "I know you feel it too". Nintendo's 3rd party game developers took pride in making games nobody could beat without codes and Galoob said this has got to stop before somebody gets killed for real by a flying NES system being tossed through a home window outside striking the paperboy in the back of the head while working his delivery route🤕😨🤔 Yes this happened @my house in the early 90's for real😫😩. Nintendo was so upset that the Game genie was invented they decided to sue Galoob toys in court & ultimately lost the case with the Judge siding with Galoob toys in their favor for the approval of the wonderful Game Genie and the rest is sweet history thank the heavens👍😁🙏💪😎💪😉👌

So idk why the hat thing worked for him but it must be a timing thing. It’s not just a mash A and Y and you automatically get it. I got it easily once I realized you can do a really short jump by tapping jump instead of mashing. All you have to learn to do is hit that tap really quick without mashing then the jump rope becomes super easy.
