I’ve owned all Abu, Daiwa and Shimano. The Abu SX is good but you have to fine tune and dial in until you hit the sweet spot. Then you can cast smooth and far. Daiwa Tatula and SLX MGL are good reel for that price range. Out of the 3 reels in that price range I will go with SLX MGL in my experience.

There are reels on the market that cast further, but the Revo SX is no slouch in that department either! You would have plenty of distance with this reel.
