We clearly see the incident from Osha’s point of view, she thought Mae set the fire and killed everyone because that’s what she was told. It’s clearly supposed to be illogical and make no sense because we’re going to have another flashback which shows what really happened, I’m guessing the Jedi killed the Witches and destroyed the village while Osha was trapped in her room. Told my dad a little about the first 3 episodes and he said "I saw the 1st episode, I don't think I'll tune in for the rest, I think I'm done w Star Wars" honestly made me choke up. I remember my dad showing me Star Wars as a kid and we'd rewatch them all the time. And still even now they have such magic to them. The original trilogy and prequel. Both have flaws but both were made for cinema. They bring so many emotions and after watching each movie 100+ times. It never fails to make me smile like a kid. Sad to see where we are with Star Wars. I will never not be a Star Wars fan. But I will never be a Disney Star Wars fan.

I think my biggest complaint about this episode was why was any of it necessary? We already knew most of these characters backstories from what we were told in the first two episodes and there were no big reveals here. All we really learned in this episode was they came from a coven of witches. Did we need an entire 45 min episode to tell us that? It's impossible for the showrunners to portray the Force as George envisioned it because their core ideologies are closely tied to self-determinable personality. They do not understand that being a Jedi is a calling which requires the ultimate personal sacrifice but they see it as anathema to their own personal beliefs, that's why they are trying to portray the Jedi as morally corrupt if not evil. It is obvious that the Witches are Darksiders, the main witch openly admitted it but the showrunners do not see it that way - they see them as underdogs fighting against oppression by any mean necessary and the Jedi being the one doing the oppressing. This show is more about showrunners approving their personal beliefs by warping the lens of Star Wars than about Star Wars itself. Sad state of affairs the Acolyte is.

Nope.. This series is underlining the end twist pretty strongly. Someone is insulted that it is always the Dark LORD of the Sith and went on and pitched a Dark lady of the Sheth to someone. The black mommy is the Sheth. Torbin got mindcontrolled to killing everyone thus the guilt and in the end the sisters find sisterly unity again to beat the evil mommy after the only competent actor in the series (Sol) is offed soon - can't see him surviving long.. When I heard Headland say Lucas was an auteur myth. That made me see red. Lucas created an environment where geniuses could develop and flourish. And he financed it with his own money. Ben Burt, John Knoll, etc….geniuses, but they don’t exist without Lucas. And Lucas wrote the stories. Created everything. And look any true Star Wars fans will watch the Clone Wars animated series and see that was a pure labor of love for Lucas. He was just chugging out Star Wars story. I have said many times the animated series completely redeems any shortcomings of the prequels KK clearly hates Star Wars and GL specifically. She took this job because it’s an unbelievable career opportunity and her and Iger completely lied to Lucas purchasing his script for the new movies and telling him he would be involved then pulling the rug Don’t even get me started on what they did to Luke Skywalker. At least filoni and Favreau have repaired what damage they can to Luke
