Good intentions and bad consequences. Shows that 'good' people can still make mistakes

Sol is that nosy Karen who calls CPS every time he sees a neighbor disciplining her children.

It was basically everyone's fault on both sides Sol and Torbin on the side of the jedi and some of the witches on their side Indara and Anasaya were the only level headed ones one thing I've been noticing is that they did this show almost like a book cause this is how they do flashbacks in Star Wars books
@jayk90684 ай бұрын
I know the consensus is what you said, but i don't get how it's not all on the Jedi. They home invaded, killed first and then killed the rest in self defense. Feel like it's an analogy for cops and like no knock warrants or the tons of ways innocent ppl get killed as "self defense"
@lordfoul62594 ай бұрын
@jayk9068 that's where I mostly put the blame on Sol cause if he wasn't freaking out he would've let Indara go in there on her own like she wanted things might've gone down a bit differently cause of two things that she pointed out the numbers and the others are guys I know that sounds woke but let me make this comparison if you ran into amazons like Wonder Woman you don't let a guy talk to them you send in the woman cause that shows them you're respecting they're traditions like the old saying goes when in Rome do as the romans do granted they shouldn't have broken in there to begin with but I think with her idea it's way less threatening

Don’t forget Mae for misrepresenting the witch ritual and inadvertently getting the Jedi to think the twins were in danger, fueling the paranoia that got Aniseya killed
@lordfoul62594 ай бұрын
@dachshund_gaming yeah someone else reminded me of that on another channel I think what her mother actually said we must sacrifice apart of ourselves to achieve our destiny

Sol is still the noble guy. He had the best intentions, and still does. His only failing was not to be truthful about what happened.

Acolyte all-flashback episode 7 was very good. I liked the references to the hyperspace catastrophe that wiped out life on some planets; of which in the last episode Jedi master Vernestra has pain/nausea from traveling through hyperspace due to her strong connection to the force. The fact that Sol was an emotional Jedi like Dooku, Anakin and Quigon Jinn was seen in quite a big way. The turn of the plot, who is responsible for the death of the entire Clan of these Witches who follow the path of Bogan = Darkness in magic, they were quite similar to the Witches of the Sisterhood of the Night from Dathomir, where Darth Maul also comes from. The fights were great, the choreography was great and seeing two Jedi fight against a possessed Wookie Jedi was great. But most of all, normally, just like Mother Cora, I felt this emotional pain in my heart. When Sol killed her partner, co-mother of two children and the love of her life, mother Aniseya, in front of her eyes. The destruction reminded me of something similar to when the Jedi destroyed the entire planet of Korriban, where the original Sith race came from.

Problem is not the Jedi, but the emotions they can't control and keep in bay, some people say this series expose the Jedi as the bad ones, i don't think so, they are helpful but when they don't follow the rules they have to, and that caused all this disaster, Torbin's and Sol's.. they are not evil but they let their feelings cloud their actions, and they went against what their council told them, the council was very clear, "not bring the girls and let them there" and what did they do? exactly that, I can't put all the Jedi in the same basket.... Keep rocking and stay safe!

It told us most of what we had already predicted although I think it's a bit ironic that the mother Anasaya's mind games with Torbin are a major catalyst for the tragic events Great seeing kelnoca using his lightsaber The possession of kelnoca and Indara breaking it killing the witches in one go was a bit too easy And Indara being the one to cover up the events was a bit of a surprise

For any wondering about how a fortified building becomes engulfed in flames, see the 1992 fire at Windsor Castle that burned for approximately 10 hours. It was started by an electric bulb too close to a curtain. The Witches residence wasn't nearly as well built.
@SupersonicMan100004 ай бұрын
These castles have plenty to burn, wooden furniture, carpets, curtains, etc. We don't have that here. This was a mining facility, we don't know what they were mining, it could be an element that had flammable properties, and was present in the walls.

Something I don't get: It seems that when mother Anasaya went black-smokey and her essence moved toward the child, who started to go go black-smokey too, Sol thought that that child was Osha. That's why he killed the mother. He couldn't tell the twins apart. However, in the bridge scene, he could tell them apart - he made a choice and saved Osha and let Mai fall to her death (or so it seemed to him - we still don't know how Mai survived the fall).

The girls were yelling each other’s names at one another on the broken bridge. I would hope he could tell them apart in that moment at least.

'I've countered a vergence in the force and its center around this boy' - Qui-Gon 'Someday those noble intentions of yours will destroy ever jedi in the galaxy' -Mother Anasaya Damn, just damn.... how similar Sol and Qui-Gon are Love seeing connections like this What an insane episode!!! Where did Mother Koril and the witches following her vanish to? hmmmmm So who is ready for the finale?!??!?

We all knew at this point that Sol had done something shady But from a story writing perspective I wished in the earlier episode when Mae and Oshsa were speaking together on that mountain that we had a Vader/Luke moment dialogue Mae would say something like this "Sol murdered our mother" Osha "YOU LIE!!!" Mae "Search your feelings Osha you know it to be true" Osha and audience would be in deniel and doesn't believe it then it is revealed to the audience in this episode that actaully Mae was telling the truth Can't wait for Osha to find out her Jedi master/teacher/friend killed her mother
@SpySkater14 ай бұрын
I think the narrative is holding out on that reveal so that Osha will become The Stranger’s acolyte. The story changes if Mae reveals that truth. It’ll hit her harder if she hears it from The Stranger who has no reason to lie about this.

I expected Brendok flashback to expose dirt of the four Jedi. However, the actual misdeeds were 10 times worse than I imagined. Sol literally stabbing Osha/Mae's mother to death! Indara taking out the entire coven, like pulling the cord in the Matrix. You know, by the dude who chose fake steak over friends, and thought ignorance was bliss. "Not like this.... not like this." [drop]
@SupersonicMan100004 ай бұрын
Ten times worse, that is a certain point a view. Aniseya is dead because Koril was initiating combat and Aniseya was doing something unknown, and given her track record with possessing Torbin, Sol was justified by striking out. As for Indara taking out the Coven, Kelnacca was too dangerous, should she kill the Wookie or the Coven, who could still be a continued threat?

series started off really interesting but the Jedi seem pretty badly written compared to how they are shown in Episode1-3, no awareness of stuff going on around them....weak minded in these later ep's....and these are supposed to be trained Jedi Knights (a Master, 2 Jedi and Padwan...).....IMO

Or maybe his master Koril told him. It's obvious she is behind everything. Qimir was likely Master Holden's padawan.
