1. why did witch turn into dust in the first place? 2. why did Sol decide to stab her? 3. weren't the other 2 (padawan and other witch) going to dual? they just stopped 4. what jedi mind trick is it to enter someones mind and kill like 15 other people through it? 5. so many more "huh" moments... There's a saying, that I'll paraphrase that good writing should go "this happens because this happens, and so on.. not this happens, and then this happens" nothing in this show makes sense.

1.They wanted to impress Trinity by doing the deadlocked albino ghost twin thing from Matrix Reloaded. 2. I don't know, imagine you were holding a 12 gauge, and somebody standing next to you started turning into black smoke. Maybe you'd be cool, but maybe you'd blast em just cuz. I think he just got spooked. 3. I guess they were shocked that Seoul just casually iced that chick they just forgot to duel. 4.I haven't seen any of the episodes, but from reviews I think they wanted to force the girl's mind out of the wookie, and they all died. It was a psyker mishap. 5. Yeah. Honestly, what I expect is so bad, the fact that they remembered to turn the camera on is a miracle.

The witches had to sync their minds into one collective to possess Kelnacca, so when Indara used the force to sever the connection between the witches and Kelnacca, they were killed in the process. 5. This was by far the worst episode yet to me. These were not real Jedi. Jedi control their emotions and none of them.... NONE OF THEM... did that. A Jedi Master, 2 Jedi Knights and a Jedi Padawan have NO control of their feelings?? I call MAJOR bullshit here. I don't understand why these events equated to Torbin committing suicide or while Kalnaka exiled himself. They were both controlled by the witches, they did NOTHING wrong though. Sol stabbing the witch mother... WTF?! And if Witch Mother was actually going to give her daughter to the Jedi then why did she play it like she wasn't? Like she was ready to fight over it? Witch Mother LITERALLY got herself killed bullshitting to Sol and making him think she was going to do something evil. And why did Sol just stab her?? Why did Koril tell Mae to get angry and smash stuff?? If all those Witches were controlling Kalnaka then where did Koril go after she turned to smoke?? NONE of this made any sense and for the first time since I started watching this crap... I got angry! Jedi do NOT act this way!! I literally almost cancelled my Disney+ subscription... it was THAT BAD. Anyway.... great video man. Keep it up! Sorry for all the rage, not at all directed towards you obviously.

Let me add plotwise characters would move on in XX years +, there would be an investigation. It would come out that they were attacked (which did happen), as they were searching the reason why a dead planet is alive (also a plothole (tatooine)). Reviewing everything the Jedi did nothing wrong. But hey remember. Evil always prey on the weak.

I understand your frustrations and many of them I also resonate with. I wonder if the series had more episodes than they would be able to stretch it out and go into more detail with everything. As of now, many thing just aren’t adding up :(

Sol thought the mother was disintegrating Mae as you can see him look at Mae as she is ashing... so he assumes he is protecting Mae from getting Thanosed.

@@Jiraiyashouse666 A Jedi... a REAL Jedi uses their light saber as a last resort (although I admit, that's more often not the case). Besides that though, after some thought, I get it. I think the REAL mistake was turning into a Ghost Witch right in front of Sol. If she was going to give Osha up, she should of just did that. The Jedi would then leave and THEN she could absorb Mae or whatever she was going to do in peace. Without Jedi interference. Why did she do it right in front of the Jedi? Makes no sense.

When current stuff gets me down, I'll find something great that I haven't seen yet from the 70s and it'll blow my mind. Plus there's great films from France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the soviet union. Eventually you gotta stop torturing yourself by watching Disney plus

Working on my own short for this episode, but yeah the jedi did nothing wrong here. Maybe too much meddling on Sols part but these witches were sus as all hell especially from his perspective.

They were on the planet because it was supposed to be lifeless so they went to investigate and we’re there for weeks of course seeing people on it would cause some sorta investigation

I don't think Sol killed the mom "randomly" These are sketchy witches using the force and doing weird rituals, talking about sacrifice with children as far as the Jedi know with one of them not really wanting to be there, plus their origins are questionable. Sol is now in a tense (granted he put himself there) situation with weapons on him and witches that already took over one of their minds with dark magic force-ish stuff. All of a sudden one preps for an attack while the main one starts to violently disintegrate along with the kid. He doesn't know wtf she's doing, it could kill him for all he knows at that range. So he draws on her and stabs her. It's almost like a mexican standoff where one person suddenly makes a move or reaches, and another there shoots them. I think it's more than understandable how things devolved to that point. how we got there though and what happens after hahahahahahahaha rock fire, happy mom angery mom, holding the heavy metal bridge instead of the kids and what in the galaxy was that music at the end!

I agree. The writing has been fairly transparent. We’ve known that the Jedi were in some way complicit in the events on Brendok. But, the issue is that, as you said, what we saw in episode 3 was essentially what we saw in episode 7. Yes, we didn’t know Sol killed the girls’ mother, which was rather odd. However, none the of witches really came off all that good. The mom, although better than the rest, was still inside of Torbin’s mind, and the rest were guilty of assaulting and mindcontrolling the Jedi. I thought the show was going to demonstrate conclusively how the Jedi conduct was wrong. But this episode, although not the best for the Jedi, shows them to be fairly innocent. They’re concerned about the kids, and the witches give no reason the Jedi should think otherwise.

I think the flashback was meant to say what you saw before was true… from a certain point of view. I think it spreads the blame around. Did all mess up? Yes. Were we meant to see his perspective that the girls were in danger? Yes. And then various characters contributed to escalating things. The witches took over minds. Mae did start a small fire but didn’t mean it to become what it did and she certainly didn’t kill her family. Tobin and Sol messed up but others accelerated the problems as well.

Yeah, it was more of a misunderstanding. Sol just panicked when she started turning into smoke and iced her. The rest was an accident.

I'm in the middle of your vid, Torbin didn't leave because they were force sensitive He left because they have some same quality that they shouldn't have (I'm taking it like the same soul split in two). They were all trying to figure out how this could have happened, and he decided it might have happened BECAUSE of the vergence they were searching for. So his reasoning was that getting the twins and showing them and their weird blood to the Council would prove that there was a vergence on that planet like they were searching for

Disney Plus is the Death Star , aiming to destroy Everything; Lucas STARWARS The Power of many (witches), was useless against the Power of one Jedi (Master Indara) The Powerful Stripper Sith Qimir, can wipe out 8 jedi with a force push...but can't handle a few big flying ticks?

They should have hired a more seasoned expert writer and showrunner because it's really hard not to tell that money has been laundered through this project. This project doesn't even seem like it's 40 or 45 million dollars..... and it's not. Someone spread out and took about 70% of this money

I think what bothers me the the most is 6+ minutes of credits at the end with a 1.5 minute recap and intro every episode. Leaving each one with 25-30 minutes. For a budget this large, something isn’t really adding up to me

Rotj budget 1983 roughly 30 million adjusted for inflation about 100 million today. Acolyte 2024 budget 180 million and the speeders looked about the same. Never mind the advancement of tech since 83... I'm lost and apparently so is the state of the art.

Like I said in the video, I think it was all just happening too quick for me. Lots of new things were being done at this moment so it was hard for me to connect to sol’s motivation when mae’s mother wanted osha to go with the jedi

From the Witcher season 1 to Ashoka, we have a bunch of shows that lays out a plot and pays it off with a cliff hanger at the end of season one to pay it off midway though season two. They repeat this process until they think the show won't get picked up again

It's a "lie" cause Mae didnt want to start the fire and kill her sister it was an accident but I don't know if the Jedis were really aware of that?... But Osha grew up with the idea of her sister wanted to kill her and maybe all the witches or at least responsible of their death. I dont know why the Jedis let witches like that if they werent really deads but that + the " truth arrangement" didnt help anybody... and Mae saw Sol kill her mother maybe cause he felt threaten by the smoke? Thought it was an attack? I mean Mae is maybe more pissed about the "lies" than what the Jedis actually really have done...

I wouldn't mind ep7 if the season had e.g. 16 episodes or so. but this being the second last episode and the season finale ep 8 probably being 25min-ish long and then having to wait 1-2 years for a second season IF it won't be cancelled is a huge disappointment.

I didn't come out of the episode feeling the Jedi did anything "bad". The witches started the fight and Sol was justified to stab the witch turning into a dark side cloud. They didn't start the fire, they didnt kill all the witches (the dark magic on Kelnacca who was the most innocent of the lot), they killed one person in total, the mother witch turning into a cloud.

I was angry after this episode. Those Jedi got everything they deserved. Breaking and entering. Trespassing. Conspiracy to kidnap children. They lied and obfuscated the truth too easily. The only Sith here were the Jedi.

I just think that the execution of the concepts is quite off. The idea of the sith lurking in the shadows (like suggested in the prequels) is a great Idea for a show if they focused on that aspect but I fear it’s strayed quite far from that and has gotten very messy

@@CamsCorner_ the only problem with this is that it ruins the mystique that you build up in your mind because they can’t write a better idea of sith’s lurking in the shadows than most people can imagine in their minds. Think about what they did with how fury lost his eye…. You probably thought up 1000 different ways that happened in cool missions and heroic actions, and their dumbasses makes it scratched out by a stupid cat…. Ruins the whole mystic of “last time I trusted somebody I lost an eye.” To support their shitty writing is in essence validate all their bullshit.
