@@wolfsbane9985 as far as mother going sicko mode, two jedi just broke into her home with the intent of trying to get her children, she even starts to deescalate the situation when her daughter runs out saying there is a fire and to save her. what reaction to you expect a mother to have in that situation? with the deaths, i mean, nihilus could use the force to drain the lifeforce of an entire planet....is it that large a stretch to say that she used the connection as a way to induce essentially a force feedback that overwhelmed them....like introducing a ton of current to a circuit to fry the circuit. or maybe they arent actually dead but just knocked out...we never have any of the jedi saying they are dead and the girls dont get close enough to really check. we will probably get more explanation on it later, but thats what popped into my head when i saw it.

Even those on the council, basically a sign they are some of the best in the eyes of the order, have big issues. there are far more examples of jedi with major personality issues over ones who are shining examples of the jedi code.....plo koon and qui gon are the only ones that jump out in my mind. yoda's hubris was one of the things palps leveraged and pointed to as a major cause for the events in the skywalker saga. mace was an asshole which palps used to push anakin further from the order. obiwan had major attachment issues. Mundi was blind to anything he didnt want to see. i guess i dont have anything bad to say about yaddle, but honestly we dont know that much about her...In legends whole groups split from the order and started ruling planets because of disagreements on who was worth protecting from the sith(the jedi grand council). Infact by the prequels, the order as a whole has fallen from the true tenants of the jedi code, sacrificing their commitment to compassion for their attachment to the senate "the jedi cannot help the slaves of tatooine, but they can help the slave masters" - dooku. its reasonable to assume there were jedi that preferred the city over next to unpopulated wilderness planets. shoot my brother loved being in the navy. He was planning on retiring in it. he was visiting amazing cities constantly. then they started giving him recruiting orders, and he gets stuck in places like middle Tennessee...he now plans on not resigning. some people are in absolute misery when they have to camp, torbin appears to be one of those kinds of people. perhaps his time as a padawan has been filled with political parties and rubbing elbows with the rich and powerful of the republic and now he has been sent to an unpopulated planet without a bathroom in site. and it appears they have been on the planet for a bit...This home sickness is the in that the dark side practicing witch needed.(id actually be really interested to know what kalnacca's was, but honestly its doubtful the writers considered it). Also, you seem to be pushing that the witches are supposed to be good guys, but its clear they are dark side users. they are also almost certainly in league with a sith lord(plenty of hints have been dropped, these writers dont understand subtlety at all.) So at the very least, they are self-serving if not outright evil. she's sympathetic as a mother, but that doesnt make her a good person. Kuklinski was said to be a loving father when he wasnt out murdering innocents left and right.

It really bothers me that the Jedi are portrayed as depressed, conflicted individuals throughout every episode. Now I do believe that the Jedi's arrogance and willingness to be so deeply involved in politics and conflicts leads them to a place where they made themselves suseptable to their own destruction...they never have been portrayed as so emotionally unstable and depressed before...and so defiant! I'm f-ing livid!! The addition of the track at the end as if the quality of the episode warranted it. They actually feel they have earned the right in emotional content... WTF is this???!!! "Twin Flame"??? Are we gonna call out the Director of this episode? Obviously filmed the two episodes as one project and split them thinking they had something. I can't even put my thoughts and words together... This is like being a kid and going to someones house to play. Seeing they have cool stuff, but realising they have no clue what to do with them. Let me take my best shot to defend the bridge scene, how it played out to me. He clearly was a little messed up killing their mother and was not thinking logically when trying to catch the girls which later he fixed when he caught OSHA in episode 1 when she fell off the cliff.
