I know you guys across the pond never actually had a first ammendment like we do but what is happening over there is an absolute travesty. I don't know how you are able to live like that. As I'm sure you already know those laws are a very slippery slope. Today it's laws against "hate speech " tomorrow it will be laws against disinformation. The problem is the people in power are the ones enforcing them. So they decide what's considered hate speech and also what's considered disinformation. All they need to do is decide that the thing someone said that was in fact true is now false and overnight all of the people they disagree with are either silenced or on their way to going to prison. Honestly is it so peaceful and so utopian over there that police manpower and the courts time is best spent on hunting down people who said words on the internet? Because it seems to me that all other forms of crime including speeding would have to be at absolute zero before being able to justify having even one officer looking at people's social media and then arresting them for criticizing illegal immigrants. This is why it's so important for the population not to allow themselves to be disarmed. Disarming the population is the first step to becoming a tyrannical government. I think a lot of companies learned the wrong lesson from GTA. They no doubt thought that the more controversial that game became, the better it sold, which is true to a certain degree, but they tend to ignore what was going on there. GTA was a product in high demand and the criticism came from groups that were never a part of the target audience. The "bad press" only served to spread the word to the target audience, which ultimately moved units. Unfortunately, all they see is controversy = good sales. The woke shows are bad products totally out of line with the target audience, meaning "bad press" and "controversy" does the opposite as it did to GTA.

Ash's milk bleed and Ripley's nose bleed were due to a deleted scene - but one in which they tried (as a team) to blow the alien out an airlock (but failed). The fluid leakage for each character was a consequence of injuries due to decompression when they opened the air lock. As I recall, in that scene they intended for the alien to lose an arm when it escaped back through the closing airlock door. For what ever reason, this scene was abandoned.

I absolutely adore the series as well and regard Jim Butcher as my favourite contemporary writer, though I would disagree on the quality of the last two releases. They suffered from forcefully splitting one script into two, which lead to a loss of balance between highs and lows in my estimation. Still after all this time I'm gnawing my nails off waiting for the next entry and checking almost every month if there's news. Hopefully Butcher will be able to release the next entries a bit faster, I once heard tell about plans for 28 titles and wouldn't want to end up in my seventies angrily yelling "finish the damn book, Jim".

What I enjoy is that The Acolyte taught me that alot of the channels I was following...main word there was....following was shill channels. Because most of them was so in love an over joyed with the show and defended it so hard I just couldnt support that. And then they began attacking other fans an channels with all these words and or making a passive aggressive threat video ya know the one there are more of us bs and discorse bs. Opened my eyes that oh yeah if you blindly support something because you love the taste, eventually that allows them to slip a poison pill in your food and they won't question they will just eat it. And now I follow and support proper fans who actually love star wars and don't allow there obsession to turn them into toxic gate keepers. If you don't follow our way of being a sw fan then ya ic,obe,ist, yeah I don't wanna be part of that. It doesn't cost money to keep these things on platform. It is storage space. The bandwidth usage is merely water levels, always in balance. If you're not watching one thing, you're watching something else. In the end, all Willow TV series costs is the storage space, which doesn't cost anything. 1:47:00 The problem with the Shepherd Book comic is that it's pretty much 100% just "The Long March Through the Institutions". 2:25:00 Regarding James Marsters/Spike reading the Dresden Files audiobooks. He didn't exactly get "replaced". There was a scheduling conflict. He'd signed up for some small indie film and was locked in, and since the books don't have a set release schedule (though they were more consistent back then compared to the current hiatuses), it lined up perfectly to clash with the release window that the publisher wanted. He's since gone and re-read that one (Ghost Story) and has done every other book (other than one short story collection that was read by a bunch of different guys and gals). The temp replacement they got, John Glover (Lionel Luther), did a tolerable job - though Jim Butcher does tell a hilarious story that the company suits were first suggesting Luke Perry as a temp replacement for Marsters because they thought the Buffy movie and tv show were interchangeable in terms of fandom appeal : D

I'm almost convinced the complaints of "hatewatching" are orchastrated by the studios. It's super simple. How are the studios and MSM reacting?
