I’m enjoying the series so far it gives off a Roshmon effect so and it doesn’t give everything away. It looks like more people need to watch Akira Kurosawa films and Kill Bill to appreciate this. The characters can come off as a bit stoic but that’s the main purpose this is the High Republic when the jedi are in the height of their power. It’s a lot like Clone Wars and Rebels in the sense of just meeting characters and as the series goes on watching them have character development.

To add to this, it felt like the closest we will get to Tarantino Star Wars, with Kurosawa influences, Old Republic references, Prequel archetypes and parallels. As someone that has read the books, EU and Canon, Played the games like Kotor 1,2 and Swtor, I truly appreciate Leslye and her passion. She is the perfect type of creative in Star Wars for me.

@@MysticTrollI completely agree. I’ve read 90% of all the High Republic. I’ve just missed out on some kid books and dark horse comics but I’ve loved it. I’m hoping Lucasfilm isn’t scared by this toxic fans and lets her do more projects.

@@MysticTroll absolutely agree! Leslye said the show was "like an onion" and will continue to unravel, so hopefully we get much more of these influences!
