Everyone has hid from God. Whether it’s from your deepest darkest secret, all the way to just feeling sad at times. It’s time we expose our toxic hiding place and find a new one in Jesus! In this podcast episode, we will give exposure to our hiding place and let God come in, to lead us away.

I mask and hide a lot of things from the people around me, but I've always been (or tried to be) brutally honest with God. It makes me emotional how much God loves me and wants to work with me through things I have such a hard time accepting or admitting about myself. He is my hiding place. It makes me so emotional because God really does love us. Despite my horrible sins and thoughts and feelings, He lets me be honest and wants to help me. I'm teary eyed even typing this.

This word is so important, thank you! God revealed that SLEEP is my hiding place! He has been leading me to wake up at 5am, which always feels great; but at times when I feel the pressure of the day, I sleep in or take unneeded naps. He led me to read the book of Jonah this morning, and it ties in perfectly. God told me to recommend that you (who's reading this comment lol) read Jonah as well. This is so amazing, God revealed to me that my hiding place is people and my phone, social media i have allowed my to seek refuge in it and i was praying and asking God to get me out of that place. I kept going back to that room instead of letting God get me out even though i knew it was causing me pain. Thank you so much for this❤

im the hider that doesn't know what to do so i run to social media, or series, or whatever thing that i think takes my mind off reality. i went to church one day when i wasn't in a good space at all and honestly that made me feel sooo much better. God is my favorite hiding place 🤍

girlllllll when i say i ran around the house i ran around just reading the tittle God has been revealing this to me of me want to constantly hid outside of his covering... The gag is its OUTSIDE his covering its not safe at all. Psalm 32:7-9 n he told me that my hiding place is drugs and sex i repented so fast cause i wasn't going to him think it was doing some but it wasn't n here i was in so much pain n all i need to do is surrendering that hiding place to let go of that desire

Something I honestly needed to hear this. Their are some areas of my life where I don’t open the door because I don’t physically (not spiritually) feel equipped. In my brain everything has 20:16 to look good physically for myself to move forward or approach a situation. It’s truly a work in progress to get over this feeling. 2022-2023 this will be a huge goal for me

I hid behind my vaping habit so so much.. then I got pregnant and since giving vaping up I’ve felt a lot more calm. Peace from knowing there’s a little one coming soon that God blessed me and my husband with. I don’t want to go back to needing the vape and bringing it everywhere I went and using it to cope with any tiny discomfort in my life

thank you for the message and being such a good reflection of Christ. I have a question that might sound silly. I am trying to getting closer to God everyday after straying away a few times. I saw a video a while ago where someone said if you do this too many time God essential takes his hand away. Is this right? It’s playing on my mind a lot and making me think that’s why I feel as though God is distant and every day Im praying that he doesn’t give up on me. I know that’s not who God is but, any guidance on scripture for this? Thank you.

in my opinion, fasting from food is the ultimate fast. it is peak humility before God. - a "dry fast" is where you dont eat or drink anything at all. not even water. - a "water fast" is where you dont eat or drink anything EXCEPT water. - a "daniel fast" is where you eat only fruits, vegetables, nuts, water, tea, and fruit juice. you dont eat any bread, meat, sugar (unless its naturally in the fruit/vegetables), eggs, or dairy. - and one more type of fast you can do is a "consecration". i personally don't consider it a fast, but that does not mean it is not beneficial. i dont consider it a fast because a fast involves not eating food. you can consecrate yourself by not doing things that bring you satisfaction. you can do this by staying off of social media, video games, and tv. you can decide not to go shopping or not listening to certain music, etc. - if you choose to fast, you can choose when and what you want to abstain from. you can say "ok, im not gonna eat any food until 5PM for the next 3 days" or you can say "im not gonna eat any sugary foods or drinks for 2 days". its up to you, but **MAKE SURE IT IS SOMETHING THAT'S ACTUALLY A SACRIFICE** - for example, if you can normally go without eating until 5PM without any issues, then choosing that type of fast won't be a sacrifice.
