Absolutely, I find that when I get really engrossed in something, I can focus intensely, but it often leaves me struggling to engage with other aspects of my life. It feels like I’m completely locked onto one task while everything else just slips away. On top of that, I tend to only go halfway with many of my activities, which is frustrating. I appreciate any support you can offer-I’m really hesitant to rely on stimulant medication for my ADD. Thank you!

@@adrianrosado9456 Thank you for your message, and it sounds like you are referring to what many call "hyperfocus." The key is to learn what I call open focus. There are various ways to encourage this, and I am planning a video on this topic. For now here are some pointers: 1). Be careful if taking stimulants like caffeine, because this could increase hyperfocus. You're better of with something calming like green tea (especially matcha) or coffee + l-theanine combo so that your brain is not wired, but focused and relaxed. The calming part of the equation will help your brain be more in a state of open focus (i.e. relaxed focus versus wired focus). 2). Engage peripheral vision. Practise focusing on a point for about 20 secs. Notice that intense focus. Now shift to peripheral; notice seeing through the "corners of your eyes." This activates slower brain activity, subconscious, and more relaxed flexible state of mind, so you can task switch more easily. Do peripheral regularly to avoid hyperfocus. 3). Take regular breaks like clockwork about every 20 mins. Do something unrelated to the main activity, something like a short walk, push ups, pistol squats, juggling, doodling, meditation etc. Why? The longer yuo allow your ADHD brain to focus on one thing that stimulates it without break, the harder it will be to stay in open focus (flexible focus). 4). Practise hypnosis/self hypnosis and anything relaxing. This will improve your ability to enter and maintain relaxed focus and to be able to task switch more easily. I hope you have found these strategies helpful and if you need any more help do not hesitate to get in touch. @@adrianrosado9456 Excellent! Let me know how that goes. And remember to use this hypnosis recording regularly to help you experience the improvements. Even better, our interaction has inspired me for the next Weekly Guided ADHD Hypnosis to help with hyperfocus and attention control. That session should be released tomorrow. Thank you for your input. Jamie Vasilyan The Hypnosis For ADHD Specialist

Thank you so much for this file, it really helped! Do you have anything hypnosis related regarding memory(both memorizing or actually remembering) or thought/task structuring planned?

@circuitbreaker7860 I'm happy to hear that The ADHD Focus SuperCharger was helpful for you. I would love to hear more if you're willing to share? Note: repeated listening will bring more results. Regarding your request, I am creating a Guided Hypnosis track for memory that I will release this week, inspired by your request. All the best, Jamie Vasilyan The ADHD HypnoCoach

@ADDvantageHypnotherapy Thank you! Do you mean feedback regarding the file or also clarification what I mean with memory/structuring?
@ADDvantageHypnotherapyАй бұрын
@@circuitbreaker7860 I meant any feedback on the previous file? Also, yes, clarification on "memory"? In any case I am creating a track today that will be focused on memory in a general sense. Hypnosis can be more general (as it is often is for a recording) or more specific and individualised, as in 121 hypnotherapy. Finally, if you would email me jamie@hypnosisforadhd.com I would like to share some free resources with you that can help you with memory, in addition to the track that I plan to release by tomorrow. Kind regards, Jamie Vasilyan ADDvantage Hypnotherapy www.hypnosisforadhd.com
