Our lightweight solo canoes allow us to reach remote backcountry waters and mountains where we like to tent and hammock camp. We also use our RV as a cushy basecamp for day tripping.

Before launching a drone be aware of the FAA rules on usage and restrictions. The Adirondacks also have their own set of rules regarding drone use. Outside of the technical rules... as a basic human courtesy... I also take special care to make sure I am not interrupting anyone's camping or nature experience. Hey Butch! I'm thinking about getting a rapid fire. When you bought your boat where you able to get it the same day or do they have order it for you?

The Rapidfire is a great boat. I believe the current wait list is just under a year. I know that sounds hard to believe... but the wait is worth it. They aren't mass produced... they are handcrafted and custom built to each paddlers specs (seat height, thwart placement, etc). For me a it's a "good things are worth the wait" kind of scenario. If the wait is too long for you just keep a sharp eye out for used Rapidfires... although when most people get one they usually don't let it go.

@@CanoeCampClimb Ah...Thanks for the info. I did not know there was a wait nor did I see anything like that on their website. This will be a big purchase for me financially so I don't mind waiting for something that is high quality and built to my specs. I have a nova craft tandem canoe and a kayak so I can still paddle for the next year :) Do you remember if they required you to pay the full price up front or just a deposit? Hope you don't mind all the questions lol (we live in buffalo and try to get to the ADK at least 4 to 5 times each year if not more)

@@MrCabinboy11 Hey Matt.... no worries... I love when I can be helpful. I think the deposit is like $1,000 or so. If you call and place your oder soon the boat will be ready for the 2024 paddling season right out of the gate. For traditional tandem canoes I love Nova Craft.
