In Kizaru's defense, by portrayal he was the second strongest Admiral of the 3, so him being the strongest Admiral after Akainu left the position is just the most logical. Akainu > Kizaru > Aokiji All 3 Admirals were shown to be equal, with a ridiculously small difference in power between them as seen in the fight between Akainu and Aokiji that lasted 10 days, but by portrayal, Akainu was always suggested as the strongest followed by Kizaru and Aokiji last. Kizaru gained the reputation of being the weakest after Akainu and Aokiji's fight, for some reason the fandom thinks that Kizaru wouldn't be able to face Akainu like Aokiji did, even though all 3 are treated as relative and portrayal indicates that Kizaru was stronger than Aokiji. By portrayal Aokiji would lose to both Akainu and Kizaru in a fight, he was marked by the script to lose every contest between the Admirals, and Akainu marked to win them all. Aokiji only had a chance because Kizaru, the first threat to him, was busy smoking weed, which gave Aokiji the chance to challenge Akainu directly.

In Akainu's defense the Anime version of the fight they made Akainu look much weaker . In the manga Whitebeard lands 2 attacks on Akainu and Akainu only does 1 . But Akainu tanked Whitebeard's attacks and was doing fine whereas Akainu's punch took half of Whitebeard's face . That was the entire fight. There is no WB jumping attack , no random Akainu lava throw that did nothing or Akainu being lifted and thrown etc.

Are we including the manga?, Cause in that that whitebeard vs Akainu fight was nothing like that, Plus Akainus attack was the only one that actually caused permanent damage. Kizuaru is never really serious but yet he was able to easily deal with gear 4 Luffy post Wano and equal out with gear 5 while trying to go after vega punk, although his durability isn't as strong as Kaido so Luffy hurt him more. And honestly Fujitora wasn't really trying against Sabo, that was pretty obvious. Green bull was going to get jumped. Still a funny video tho.
