Been up there many times back in the late 80's. It's amazing.

Dalton, Georgia is a wonderful place. I haven't climbed up here yet, but I will this summer. Or at least give it my best shot.

I helped build this park, graded it and laid the foundation that is now the trails and the main parking area where the pond is 😎👍🏻 I work for Whitfield county public works!

I walked the entire mountain building the trails with my crew, reached the top and just thought “wow, all those men who stood and looked at this same scenery” it was very humbling standing on that peak… before it had any trails.

Why didn’t Davis appt Cleybourne instead of Johnston to command ??
@LeeHoFooks2 жыл бұрын
Because Davis didn't understand the situation in the west. He was in denial.

Cleburne pissed off a lot of people as well with his plan to recruit black soldiers for the Confederate Army

@@lcraig1maccom ...It was an idea that was not ready for prime time. It was a good one in my opinion.

My great great grandpa was with Sherman but my family has been unable to figure out exactly what he was doing and where he was. If he was on the march to Atlanta, I'm assuming he was somewhere near here. What exactly is the title emerging civil war about? What does the job title mean?

Incredible to see this stuff, Hope I get to walk at least some of this ground some day, had no idea about it when I was in the area thirty or so years ago.

This all is right in my back yard. I'm at the the north end of crow valley. There is a rock wall down in the wood. And looks to be grave like structures at the bottom.

ABT can we hike to the top of RFR via the park in Crow Valley?
