Great advice from this contributor for guys at the stage of life and with the disposition just wanting to have wanting to have friendly sexual experiences respecting the sex workers time needing to be paid as it's a transaction. Plus being politely assertive whenever the girl tries to be exploitative. Staying single in Thailand can be rewarding in visiting places, motorcyling across the country and scuba diving etc., minus the sleeze. Staying single is advisable as very few men can speak adequate Thai or really understand the culture. The wife often doesn't have fully developed English to understand what he really means either, compounding problems in communication. These men end up depressed as find themselves an isolated spouse kept as a provider. That's because she soon reverts to being preoccupied with her family and friends giving him minimal attention and time. Plus she and other Thais have very little respect for the guy and his incomprehensible weird ways. Sure, they find him a somewhat useful tool, largely a moderate level ATM for a better life style, where she at most may deliver a bit of domestic & bit of sexual services. Most average guys from 30 yrs onward have excellent pickings from options in their own country without the problems of a complex, more negative relationship that a foreign to them,Thai culture eventually can bring.

There is no such thing as luck. Your head is not going to be prepared if you think that "luck" exists. Luck is being mentally prepared to detect all the red flags and how to successfully negotiate. If you have no experience, you better double-down on the preparation and to never slip up into thinking these women have feelings for you. These women are sex workers! Drill that into your head, be respectful of their time, pay up, and move on. There are some good KZbin videos where a man interviews one of these women, in Thai with subtitles. Watch those videos to take the message to heart. These women know how much money they need to both live and send money back to their families, so every interaction has a price, and you are merely a customer. If you want more, stay in your own country, where you have much more in common with local women.

This single guy has a system that works since he does not live full-time in Pattaya. He gives himself and his "friends" enough time and space to stay fresh. However, if he were to move there full-time, he might find that his world will close in around him as the "pickings" will soon fade to meaningless carnality. At that point, he might as well become a nomad, moving around the country. However, these ladies usually have a Thai boyfriend, so he may need to dodge any retribution, if he stays in one place too long. At some point, transaction-based "friendship" becomes stale.

I will be in Pattaya next week, i have already dates with several girls that want to meet up, if they want, i will see, if not no problem because appointments in a place like Pattaya don't count. But i will make the girls clear "NO RELATIONSHIP". Better to say upfront because they will try to stay with you. But like said here, you're just a number following the previous man. Not saying you can't like one girl more than the other. We are human after all. But falling in love, no thanks with all the stories i heard here on Dan's channel i should be heavily demented. I am in Pattaya now , for my first trip here . I took a motor bike taxi with a female driver, about a km n a half from my condo and asked her to take me to walking street , she told me it would be 60 baht . I took the same ride back with a male driver and he charged me 100 baht

Great tips, but I have trouble being strict with beautiful women. The only thing that saves me is my round-trip 🎟 to leave. I have even realized the Line App can cause me trouble. I know the game well, but as I age, it's harder to play the right way. I remember Pattaya in the 1980s ! When it wasn't such a minefield. I will do anything to stay single till the very end at 60 years old. I often remember Dan's advice on how older men can lose all their wealth without the time to make it up again. Funny I was married twice before to Japanese girls. They didn't seem to have such a "bag of tricks." As a matter of fact, I initiated both divorces. Maybe I should have thought twice.
