Filipino here. Trust me, many of us are laughing at how poorly the acronym they chose aged. 😂 So our writers and journalists have to make the effort NOT to write sentences like that whenever they have to report on the MILF. VERY difficult to do.

I used to write the sort of assessments (at a much lower level) that Kal is talking about here and believe it. We definitely knew what we were doing with the gift of that acronym. 😂 Being able to spin it into something funny but plausibility deniablr was a bit of an art. @@candycoatedchump He did real doorknocking and voter outreach for Obama in Iowa for months while he was already a household name. Then he gave up a TV role to go work in the WH. The interesting thing is, House getting traumatized was already on the story arc. They were trying to think of a good reason for that. Kal told the team he wanted to leave, and they found the perfect reason (I just finished his book, "You Can't Be Serious")

Kal is a good choice to guest. Having worked in the White House with Obama he'd have some unique insights to discuss. Should be an interesting week on The Daily Show. I thought having different guests would make the show feel a little off balance but the writers and producers have done an amazing job making it feel like The Daily Show while allowing the voice of each guest host to come through.
