Yes I already sent them in person and they're heavy but not too heavy and there are 100 w but they're still trying them out. They don't know how long they going to last the battery and other stuff. I live in North Carolina

Most of these fixtures use basic 18650 cells, which are easy to make compact. Further, these don't draw that many amps. The mover makes the beam intensity by way of glass magnification, so it's really not hard to make the battery last a long time. I got word of these a bit ago and I'm pretty impressed by what I've seen so far. Time will tell, of course.

What is the difference between it being a beam or a spot? Does that mean there won’t be zoom or prism?

Spots have a bigger beam angle and it has a larger projection output. Beams are a lot tighter and look better with haze. This will have a beam focus and prism, and this will probably be most effective in a non-haze environment with the prism always engaged

What’s with head units having those LED rings around the outside? Seems like it doesn’t add very much in way of a visual effect. I think it looks cheap personally but that’s probably because I associate it with cheapy Chinese party lights…

Idk man. Some people really like them. The blizzard hypno beam has them. it creates some eye candy when the beams are off

I’m sure some people do. I’m guessing the output from them isn’t enough to do much in the way of lighting up a dance floor. Sometimes it makes me feel like these light companies are trying to please too many people with their products. Like, they have to appeal to the professional DJ’s by making a quality light for a cheaper budget, but they also want to appease the random frat dude who’s buying cool lights for his basement party room lol Wish someone would come out with a robust, feature-rich, battery operated wireless spot or beam that doesn’t break the bank and adds to a DJ’s professional appearance.

They are clearly sync-ed up master slave in the video and I don’t see any DMX cable so they must have on-board wireless. Your mic sounds pretty terrible in this video..?

It's confirmed that they have built-in wireless dmx now. Yeah, mic misconfiguration, it was using my webcam mic

The gobos are TERRIBLE and can't be replaced. Save your money and wait for other brands to catch up.

I've never liked beam gobos much in the first place, they're kinda useless compared to spots. I'll have to check it out once I get home, I'll keep that in mind
