Air fried Tandoor Chicken
Ingredients
3-4 chicken whole legs
1 tsp salt
Juice of 1/2 lemon
For the bhuna masala
4-5 tbsp mustard oil
1 bay leaf
1 small cinnamon stick
1/2 cup besan/Chickpea flour
For the chilli oil
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
For the marination
150 gm hung curd
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp green chilli paste
2 tsp chili powder
1 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
2 tsp black salt
1 tbsp chaat masala
2 tsp roasted kasuri methi
Salt to taste
Juice of 1 lemon
2 1/2 tsp tandoori masala
3 tbsp bhuna besan mixture
2 tsp Kashmiri chilli oil.
1/4 cup mustard oil
Other ingredients
Melted butter for brushing
Method
1. Wash and clean the chicken legs & make cut on them, then sprinkle with salt and lemon juice and mix well, keep this aside for 5 mins.
2. Next heat oil in a pan, add the bay leaf & cinnamon and then the besan, fry on low heat for 3-4 mins till the raw ness of the flour goes away & then remove off the heat and let it cool down, prepare the chilli oil the same way.
3. Next take all the ingredients for the marination in a bowl and mix well, taste the salt add more if required, next add the chicken to this and mix well, let the chicken marinate for min 5-6 hrs in the fridge.
4. Next place them in the air fryer and let the roast at 200-210C for 10 mins, after 10 min take it out bush with some legend butter & flip it over & roast again for 8 mins till charred.
5. Once it’s cooked, remove brush with some more butter, sprinkle with chaat masala and serve.
