Great video Mat. I was at the range today shooting my RM8. It was that windy that the pellets were coming back to me. I’m crafty though and put the targets behind me. 😂

Thanks Mat, for the new Year's wishes. I'd like to wish you and the 'gang' there with yu all the best of good wishes for 2022, and continued good health to all. That's an enjoyable video of rat disposal this time 'round. I do like those Walther rifles, no matter ( for me ) whether they are PCP or Spring action..

You’re right. It’s because he’s inside. It sounds similar to the Brocock Ranger that Mat shot a few wks ago in similar or the same surroundings.

I have a question about cleaning up the shot rats, is it okay to leave them laying around and clear the area after the shooting finishes? Will the other rats be scared off by the sight of their dead mates? Nice video, hope to see more!

Hi to all the air gun show team. Long time subscriber first time writer ! I have a massive rat problem on my small farm in Spaulding Lincolnshire pe12. We have chickens, ducks. Rabbits, pigs goats and sheep running free most of the time on our small half acre farm. We have had problems with rats and mice in the past ! But recently it has become out of control. The rats are now killing my young chickens, quail and ducklings. Damaging our pens, and contaminating our livestock feeds and water supplies. Setting traps, poison or most pest control is to dangerous with all our other animals running free. Can you help? I am inviting you to my farm in Spaulding Pe129pd and offering full written permission to film, document and shoot any pests on my farm. Hope to talk soon Many thanks Dave

Always enjoy your videos but not a fan of brocock / daystate - they can make good products but if you get a problem, in my opinion, they are a waste of time. My local gun supplier would not sell me a daystate Delta Wolf as they had no faith in them. I purchased from a different outlet after getting advice from one of your colleagues You are treated with back up but in the real world you get no back up and are made to feel like you're the problem. This gave me my worst experience due to problems with the retailer and daystate. l eventually got my money back but will never use daystate products or that gun shop again. If I treated my customers like that I would go out of business pretty quickly. In Britain customers are always wrong 😡

I've got a daystate wolverine 303 which had a few problems but daystate customer service I found second to nun they sorted both problems very quickly with no charge to me sorry for your bad experience

@@bosshowly unfortunately i once sent a daystate renegade back with a problem when i got it back it would not cock. repaired with help from a nice chap called Simon (paper work said it had been tested). Year's later i purchased a.177 Delta Wolf when it whent back for software update and lack of shots 88 before power went off, plus magazine had problems. when it came back magazine had a problem power was 10.6 before it whent back it was 11.5-6 also missing dust cover for foster air fitting missing. when phoned up shop the talk to me in a very unfriendly way and said i would have to pay for any further work .Hence i had to look at ways of sorting out the problems which gave me a lot of stress I have been shooting air weapons for over 40 years plus.This made me feel like giving up but my BSA and FX impact , renegade kept me going FX. I could write a book about daystate and brocock years ago you could talk to someone.

If you see one rat, then I think to say that there are millions of them in the open and hiring an air rifleman he's gonna suck up a lot of his money for around, let's say... Maybe approximately 125 pounds, for what? 9 rats in an hour, if that's what he said. Now, I'm not an expert here- but based on my opinion, approximately 125 pounds seems like a lot of money for everyday for a farmer and it may not be, if he has a lot of money to splash around- that's if an air rifleman is hungry for money, that is. Maybe I'd go for, "bate gel," you probably get more rats that way and save more than hiring an air rifleman. While I was in the process thinking about it, with, "bate gel," maybe they would charge a lot more per square meter if it depends on what size farm he has. Thus to say, maybe customers need to do their homework first on how many acres it cost for bate gel and how many hours for an air rifleman and then compare them so customers will know.
@anthonybutto19253 жыл бұрын
@Broad Side That's a good point for it's good for the farmers. Maybe most air riflemen do it for a hobby and not for money. Speaking of air riflemen, they probably use them for hog hunting as well when their effective on helicopters but with bigger bullets, not to forget. Farmers hired tourists for hog hunting for it was costing farmers a lot of money for them to do it. But I think hunters are more effective when they use machine guns for they can shoot around 40 hogs in a day probably.

Seen some permissions ask airgunners to cough up cash for the pleasure of shooting on their land, no farmer is paying for pest control.
